10th bomb||Hayato Gokudera|| [video/inperson]
[After hearing from Megamind about his room the teen GUNS IT to see for himself. Low and behold his room is a blackened husk of it's former self. He runs in, looking around at it desperately. There was hardly anything recognizable left of the bed... his dresser was reduced to nothing but charcoal.
He stands there for a moment, face pale and his jaw hung open. He snaps out of his trance and rushes to the only thing still standing in his room. A bookshelf. He feverishly begins rummaging through it starting at the bottom, obviously looking for something. As he does so his black berry tumbles out of his pocket and switches on to video.
Hayato continues undeterred gradually working his way up to the higher shelves. Once he can no longer reach, he steps on one of the lower shelves to hoist himself up. Just as he seems to have something in his grasp, the shelves give out, causing him to tumble onto the floor, landing on his back. He sits up, holding what appears to be the charred remains of a little wooden toy are in his soot-blackened hands. He swallows hard, and it seems that his eyes begin to water... just a little.

[In Person]
He took that risk to get to Gokudera and places his hand on the other's shoulder.]
This place...it takes away people's hearts. Don't let it take yours.
Re: [In Person]
He doesn't address it however. No, he just keeps staring at the little toy as it slowly seems to be falling apart in his hands.]
It was a present from my mother for my third birthday... they found it in the car when...
[He swallows again, unable to get the rest of the sentence out]
[In Person]
You don't have to tell me. I think I know.
[He doesn't try to force the comfort. He offers his support and his shoulder without having to say it. He wanted to say more but at this point the words were lost with the emotional thickness that clung to the air like a fog.]
I'm sorry...
Re: [In Person]
[His fingers curl around the little car. It had already been in disrepair at the time of the explosion, after the many years of playing with it as a child. Besides his bombs and the clothes on his back, it had been the only possession he took with him when he ran away from home]
[In Person]
[It was the best he could offer since he knows what it feels like to have nothing other than what he had been given in the past and now the only thing he had gotten from his parents is in his gun.]
Re: [In Person]
I-I don't want anyone to touch it.
[In Person]
I understand. Can I at least make a duplicate?
Re: [In Person]
It wouldn't be the same... but thanks though. It's not really about what it is so much as... who gave it to me...
[In Person]
[Megamind gave a gentle squeeze to Gokudera's shoulder.]
I'm just glad that you're okay and your safe. I'm sure your mother would agree.
Re: [In Person]
Would she?
[He was damaged goods after all. Would his mother still see him as her son were she alive? Would she worry about him? In that sense he was almost glad she was gone... she never saw what he became.]
[In Person]
This is the world and it's not a kind place. They know this...but you know, I think what they really want is for their children to be happy, strong and succeed.
[He recalls a time where he was using his disguise generator and saw a lot of this first hand.]
Re: [In Person]
[In Person]
He could tell that Hayato was struggling too. He doesn't say a word an only offers a sympathetic nod.]
