1rst illusion || Rokudo Mukuro || [video/in person]
[There's the sound of something heavy and wet landing on the floor with a loud 'shlop' sound. It's dark at first, but then there's some shifting and the blackberry falls onto the floor, the camera picking up a wet figure on the ground. The figure is bound up in chains, stuck with wires and tubes and other fastenings. There's a tube over his right eye and his left eye is taped shut. The bottom of his face is covered by a mask with various tubes sticking out of it. Possibly for breathing and feeding underwater? His wrists, ankles, and neck are bound in manacles. Clearly someone didn't want this person to get out, however it's unclear whether he's a prisoner or perhaps an experiment. He appears to look like a regular young boy in every other respect...
The figure on the ground spazzes and jerks in a brief without any warning. It's unclear as to if he's awake or his body is simply in shock from the obvious sudden change in environment. The body goes still immediately afterward. Then, a muffled noise emits from the figure. His chest rises and falls in sudden jerky movements... that can either be attributed to laughter or crying...
Regardless, it doesn't appear as though he will be able to free himself on his own... and conveniently enough room 10 now adorned with a shiny new nameplate is opened a crack...]

Re: [In Person]
[Mukuro takes back his trident and thoughtfully taps his chin, though he wasn't surprised brute force didn't work. Against powers like his they didn't typically work]
Well perhaps you simply took the wrong approach? Perhaps we should take a visit to this wall. I'll see what I can do with it. I doubt I'll be able to break it, however I may be able to... breach it somehow.
Re: [In Person]
Re: [In Person]
At your leisure, I'll wait out here.
[And he turns to walk out of his room to wait. Though, he's no longer shaking and his complexion no longer looks like he hasn't seen the light of day in over a month.]
Re: [In Person]
[Zuko's quick to change his clothing; simple clothing is not like armour, being difficult to get into easily without help. As soon as he's done, he steps out after Mukuro, carrying his old outfit with him; the clothes that probably would've fit on Mukuro were just slightly baggy on Zuko's malnourished frame, the pants uncomfortably loose around his hips. He pays it no mind, however.]
Right. The manor entrance is this way, follow me. [Clearly used to leading the way, Zuko sets off down the hall.]
Re: [In Person]
Yes, that had to be it. It certainly was an outdated hairstyle... by a few centuries to say the least. So far, the outlandish tale the boy had spoke of seemed to be making more and more sense. Mukuro had been switched from one prison to another, if this wall could hold up against his powers....
After a time of walking, and musing on fashion and powers and the like, they make it to the wall... the invisible wall as the boy had stated. Mukuro walks forward to it with his hand out until he feels a force stop it... and a strange rippling effect in the air]
So, I take it this is the wall you spoke of?
Re: [In Person]
Re: [In Person]
[In a blink a door appears in the area of the wall]
...doesn't have a door? Now, lets just hope my slumber hasn't weakened me too much....
[Mukuro takes a deep breath before he opens the door. It was just mist... he reached out to touch it. The barrier was still in place. His brows nit together and his eyes narrow in irritation, but his smile remains... He's absolutely irate, however he is a master at not letting it show. Had the fight with the baby weakened him too much? Such a eat SHOULD have been easy...]
How bothersome... I was hoping I wouldn't have to switch paths... but if we can't get out then perhaps I could bring something in....
Re: [In Person]
How did you...? Is that door real? [It certainly didn't seem like it, given that Mukuro couldn't seem to go through it, but Zuko had never seen such a realistic illusion before.]
Re: [In Person]
[He takes a deep breath and brings a hand to his right eye, the expression on his face sharpening despite his ever-present smile.]
Would it be alright for me to lean on your shoulder for a moment? There's one more thing I would like to try, however, I would rather not topple to the ground like a rag doll in the process.
Re: [In Person]
Re: [In Person]
While he was usually at least able to keep up illusions to such a minor degree regardless of what state he was in, he was too weak in his current condition. Even his trident, which he had dropped to the ground was beginning to dissipate into mist.
He holds a shaking hand out to the wall and soon a black portal-like thing forms in front of it, and from it a snake slithers out before it quickly snaps shut again. A very small, yet brightly colored (read: poisonous) snake. Mukuro stares at the small snake in surprise... there were supposed to be more of them... and they were supposed to be bigger....]
Re: [In Person]
Damn... come on, sit down! [The Fire Nation prince has no idea what just happened, but he knows it took Mukuro for one hell of a spin. He tugs the other teen over to the nearest tree, eyes flickering back to that snake briefly before he focuses on using his Firebending to heat the air around Mukuro and dry him off.] You're all wet again-- how did that happen?!
Re: [In Person]
[Mukuro holds out a weak hand to the small snake, and it comes slithering obediently into him. He holds it for a moment, inspecting it. The creature doesn't seem to do anything in retaliation, content on sitting on Mukuro's hand]
There's no need to fear it, as meager as it is, it is mine. Though usually there's more of them, and they're larger. It's a summons... I was able to bring something from the outside of the barrier within it. So it must not be completely impregnable... though perhaps this pathetic little specimen is merely a testament to my physical state. I am rather tired.
[Mukuro tosses the snake away before switching back to the first path. The Kanji reverting to a '1' again. In the blink of an eye his color seems to get better, and he's no longer squinting in the bright light. Though his breath is still rather heavy]
Still, it is a victory, albeit a small one.
Re: [In Person]
Re: [In Person]
[He glances over at his trident, the moment he switched back into the first path, it stopped deteriorating, and in a blink it was back to it's original glory. After a deep breath, he forces himself up with a grunt and hobbles over to pick it up. Not as graceful as usual, but he seems to once again made a surprisingly quick recovery]
Also, I would be much obliged if you... didn't speak of my talents you saw here today...
Re: [In Person]
Of course. [He gets to his feet as well, then hesitates.] Whatever you're doing... that makes you seem better... it doesn't actually make you better, does it? I mean, it wore off when you got exhausted. Maybe you shouldn't use it so much-- give your body a chance to recover properly. It's gotta be taking some kind of toll on you to be doing that.
Re: [In Person]
[He inspects the trident once more, making sure it's in perfect condition. Satisfied, he holds it upright paying attention to Zuko once again]
My body will recover in time, however I refuse to be flopping around uselessly like a newborn infant until it does. Surely you can understand.
Re: [In Person]
Re: [In Person]
[Food was of no concern to him, if he couldn't manipulate someone into giving it to him he could simply illusion some into existence to hold him over until he could acquire some actual food.]
