The Doctor | 028 | [Video]
Do you all remember that theory we all had about being safe in our own heads? That the Author can't affect our free will?
We were wrong.

Perhaps you're afraid that I'll do some real damage to her. I assure you I will not. But if the opportunity to get answers and information presents itself, I will not let it pass me by.

And if she doesn't know what we want to know there's no point in it and I will not allow it. Invading the mind of anyone- especially someone unwilling, it can be very damaging no matter how much you think it won't harm them.
Forcing your way into anyone's mind, no matter what your reason is and how gentle you intend to be can still be traumatizing- especially to girl who thinks of us as figments of the imagination. It's basically like saying you're going to rape someone oh but you'll be gentle about it- it still does the same amount of damage.

And actually, I hate to be the one to burst your bubble but you can't get into my mind. The most you'll get is a the mental image of a door- and if by some miracle you manage to get past that than you'd die because everything in my head would cause your mind to burn.
Don't ever, ever think you're capable of reading my mind or playing mind game with me. I'm a Timelord, you're just a human. A human gifted with strong physic abilities but still a human. And I am well trained against physic powers.

Don't play the experienced mentor with me. I've had my powers for many years and I'm quite experienced with them, and I know the moral and ethical implications of them. Don't presume to lecture me.
[She's wary of this. If his mind is too alien for her, she won't be able to read him, at least not with ease. And this is a man that has many secrets to keep. Always, people have their secrets, and always they use them for ill means.]
If you're so bloody opposed to me interrogating the Author should the chance arise, fine. I won't. Perhaps I'll question her, but I'll stay out of her precious head. Don't come whining to me though if I could have done something.
