Pilgrimage 01 ◘ Tali'Zorah ◘ Intro post [In person / Video]

[After waking up in the forest and eventually finding her way out, anyone nearby may run into the young Quarian. Confused and very wary, Tali pulls out her gun, and starts to wander a little further away. She knows she isn't dreaming; the nerve sensors in her suit were picking up stimuli, and that never happened when she dreamt. Bringing up her omnitool, she frowns behind her helmet as shegets nothing but bad signal]

Come on...Come ON you little Bosh'tet...damnit....

[As the orange hologram fades again, she takes out the blackberry she found next to her, and selects the video option]

Where am I? Who brought me here? Commander Shepherd, are you nearby? What is your location?

[To Tali, the blackberry was incredible outdated - primitive even. But with no other form of contact, she's at a loss for how to get answers]

[Well, even through his heavily drugged little mind he STILL can't turn down helping an alien. Granted, he IS drugged, which may not help his argument at all. He's not quite as chipper as usual (not that Tali would know), and his face is pale with dark circles under his eyes. The camera is shaking in his hand as he is too weak to hold it steady... if that doctor found out he was exerting himself like this... well fuck him. An alien in need requires a Hayato indeed.]

[Tali looks over the message, though per Quarian 'wiring' as it were, she can't help but want to help the boy at the end of the feed]

Where are you? You do not look well...

[She was armed..if this unfamiliar human posed a threat (which she doubted), she could easily defend herself. And besides, he looked awful; perhaps she could help him somehow]

mm- don't worry 'bout me... I'm fucked fifty ways t'sunday.... nuttin' no one can do...

[where is he... that is a fantastic question. His head lolls off to the side so he can try to figure out just where he is...]

...in bubble... there's some trees outside n'stuff...

[She did just hear that right?]

[We're going on a Dera hunt, we're going to find a hurt one..~]

[Switching off the device, she starts off further into the Manors grounds.

Oddly enough, a giant surgical bubble isn't too hard to spot, and soon Tali is sliding her gun back into it's holster and putting a 3 fingered hand to the side of the bubble. Sure enough, the boy looked even worse in person]

What's your name?

[Hayato stares in AWE at the alien for a few moments... even longer then usual since it takes his brain a few extra seconds to realize anyone is there in the first place... and even longer to realize she asked him something.]

H-Haya- um I mean Gokudera.... wh-who are you?

[alien or not, he hated his first name. Too many people called him by it as it was...]

Tali'Zorah..

[Trying to find an entrance to this strange looking thing]

How long do you have to stay in there?

[Badass alien name...]

I dunno... think the Doc just doesn't want me outside... I dun give fuck though... rip the thing apart if y'want... some fresh air ain't gunna kill me.

[He reaches a hand clumsily to the bubble to push against it]

thing's pissin' me off 'nyway...

[Well, if worse came to worse, she could maybe lend him some antibiotics or something..

Pulling out her knife, she slices a hole in the bubble, ripping it open until she can step inside. As the dumb thing slowly deflates, she makes sure it settles around the kid instead of on top of him (surgical bubbles should be kept away from children..danger of suffocation and all..)

Sitting next to him, she eyes his injuries warily]

What happened here?

... got in a fight. Leg got...

[Hayato glances away]

messed up... real bad... the Doc... well... you can see...

[Obviously Hayato is having issues even talking about it, even refusing to look at his leg. In hopes of dropping the discussion about it he attempts to change the subject]

but you're new here right? probably want to know what's goin' on?

[Her tone remains gentle but serious as she nods]

[A lie, but he didn't want to get others involved. He takes a deep breath and readies himself to explain. His words are slow as he's having a rather difficult time fighting through the grog to formulate his words]

Like I said earlier... you're in a place called the manor. It's like... an interdimensional... [Oh god what was the word he usually used?] thing... [a good substitute] that traps people... from a bunch of different dimensions n'shit. There's a girl who runs it... people call "The Author"...

[He needs to pause for a minute to catch his breath]

She.... comes up with these "plots" so every week or so... stuff gets messed up... some how... this week... no... manor... s-sorry... n-not... usually... this weak...

[By the end of his explanation he's breathing hard and sweat covers his brow. Talking was a lot of work, but dammit he would do it for an alien!]

[She raises a hand (all three fingers) pretty much at the same time as he finishes his sentence]

Hush, it's alright, don't push yourself.

[Putting a hand on his forehead]

[Well, more information would be nice, but he was hardly in any condition to go into great detail]

[Oh god three fingers? That's just so awesomely alien... jeez if only he could sit up]

Your hands warm though... been cold for... days... I think... don't know how long really. Can't remember yesterday... like... at all...

[For once, Tali is at a loss. She doesn't want to leave him, but she doesn't know where she could find him any water or blankets. So, she settles for keeping him company for now]

You feel quite warm yourself...you probably just have a fever, but..how long until you get a house back do you think? You shouldn't be out here..

A fever? If my luck could get any worse....

[he lets out a sigh]

New plot starts on mondays... so I'm expectin' it'll come back then maybe?

[She nods, though she isn't pleased about having to wait, nor about him being exposed to the elements in his condition]

Hopefully the weather will stay favourable until then, for your sake

I hope so... Don't think I'll make it... if it rains... already.... so damn cold...

[Don't mind him just kind of... STARING at you and your awesome alien-ness]

...can I...ask you where you're from?

[The question surprises her, but she sits herself down a little more comfortably anyway]

My people were originally from a planet called Rannoch, but we were..[She pauses]..driven out by another species. Now all Quarians live aborad the migrant fleet.

Migrant fleet? That sounds... all kinds of badass...

[And there's a weak little smile spread across his face]

What's it... like... up in space?

I was about to ask you the same about Earth..[If it's possible to smile through your voice, she's doing it]

The only way I can really describe it is..it's just so vast - There are so many varying cultures and species; I have seen my share whilst serving aboard the Normandy, but I can only imagine how much more there is out there

Sounds like Earth really... there's... just so much of it... it would take a life time to lookit it all.

[Of course, space was MUCH cooler then any Earth had to offer!]

Man though.... what I wouldn't do to get to live your life for a bit... that sounds... totally... awesome...

[He sounds so worn out, like it's too much effort just to breathe..Tali hopes she isn't making him worse off by talking to him...]

Live my life? Perhaps you mean just live in space. My people are not treated well, so you might find living my life a little depressing

[He sighs and looks away for a moment. He understood that feeling. Being the bastard "oriental half-breed" didn't exactly make life on the streets any easier...]

[He at least knew he could be a brat and often deserved what he got...]

[She just shrugs]

We are used to it, though it would be nice if those views changed for the better

[In a way, the Quarians did deserve a slap on the wrist..but they got that after they were driven from their home world. It simply seemed that, until the Geth were exterminated, the Quarian race would be jaded]

Well.... everyone seems... to mostly hate everyone.... the same here...

[there's that weak little smile again]

So at least it's not biased...

[She smiles, but because he can't see, instead she places a hand gently on his for a moment or two]

Tell me, how many people are there here exactly..?

[Gokudera's pale cheeks light up a little, physical contact wasn't something he was particularly used to... ans least not in a friendly way.]

[She sincerely hopes it isn't long; Commander Sheperd would need her for their next mission, and she had work to do on the Normandy..repairs and such, but still important none the less]

[Hayato shakily reaches for his blackberry and scrolls down to his first ~~classy~~ post from back in Sicily and hands it to Tali. His first post was on February 19th, about five months prior]

There is normally a Manor house here. The Author thought this week would be interesting for her if we coped two weeks without it.
