[Kaoru appears on the screen, he isn't looking his usual self. In fact he's clearly hiding in some place.]

Well, I know how much I love playing these types of video games, but I really wasn't expecting to actually be involved with one.

[It's not like he can actually fire and gun or anything like that. What was the Author thinking when doing something this dangerous... oh right, she properly wasn't thinking at all.]

Can... someone please help me? I am surrounded and I know full well I can't actually fight without the possibility of getting bitten.

[srs bsns. She clicks off the feed and makes a beeline to the street.]

Well there is a hospital that is crawling with zombies.

I'm across from it. Beware though the number of zombies seem to higher because of it.

Alright. [The screen goes dark as she shoves the Blackberry into some sort of pocket... there might be the muffled sound of hacking and slashing, grunts, a fwoosh as she tosses Hiraikotsu to cut them down. ~~This pretty person packs a punch.~~]

[She enters the building, finally. Can you hear her there, Kaoru?]

Over here!

[Sango blinks, then moves over to him and drops into a crouch.]

I'm Sango, by the way. Are you alright?

I'm fine, just scraped my arm a little while I was moving from one place to another.

[Sango reaches under one of her shoulder pads and withdraws a clamshell case, flipping it open to reveal a healthy dollop of ointment inside.]

It still kind of stings.

This might sting at first, but then it'll feel better.

[She wished she had the time and resources to clean it first, but. She carefully dabbed some of the oily substance onto the scrap, coating it evenly. She's definitely done this before. Then she flips the shell closed and wedges it under her shoulder pad again, rising to peer out.]

Yeah, that stung more than a little.

[Noncommittal shrug.]

Better than it getting infected--trust me.

[She starts to edge out, sliding her sword from her side.]

Come on. Stay behind me.

Okay, but can I ask where we're headed?

Will "somewhere with fewer monstrosities" do?

I think that less is better, so yeah that will do.

There's got to be somewhere that's at least somewhat safe--

['scuse her as she just spears a disembodied hand, inching along.]

No, but at that kind of pace, the hand can't be very far from the rest of the body--the blood was fresh.

Well, there's always an entrance and a exit in all building, right? So maybe there is one that way?

[Aw, poor Kaoru. She'd probably be sympathizing a little if they weren't in the middle of escaping zombies, but she's kind of desensitized to the sight herself.]

There should be a back entrance this way.
