6th Psalm || D'eon [in person/video]

[The feed comes on facing D'eon for a moment, surprisingly the old timer had figured out how to turn the thing on, on purpose for once. Apparently he has no idea just how long he's been gone, or that he's even been gone.]

Pardon me but could someone please explain the current plot this week? I am currently at a lo-

[The blackberry is suddenly drops to the ground as D'eon is forced to jump back to dodge an oncoming zombie. The Frenchman draws his sword and makes quick work of the undead. Such a slow beast was no match for him. Once it falls, D'eon flicks the blood off his sword and sheaths it before picking up the blackberry again]

Please, any information would be much appreciated. Thank you.

[He bows his head politely and puts the blackberry in his pocket... but fails to turn it off. Well... at least he got it on...]

The Author's decided we needed a horde of the walking dead; I'd say 'welcome back', but I feel more like I should offer sympathy for the timing.

There's a safe-house if you head to the east edge of town; they don't seem to be able to get in.

Several months?! Mon dieu...

[He lets out a sigh]

If only I had been sent home. Do you know how long exactly I have been missing?

Seven months, one week, five days; that's about as exact as I can get, since I can't exactly keep watch on the doors constantly. I think yours is the first time I'd heard of where your nameplate disappeared while you were missing.

Thank you, I will be sure to record that once we return. also one more thing, if it's not too much of a bother. I seem to have found a most peculiar musket in one of the buildings. I found what I could only assume to be musket balls, however I could not find the ramrod or black powder. I am not exactly as well versed with firearms as I am with a sword, but I assume this is some... futuristic rendition? Judging by the city...

[As old and decrepit as this city was, it was still more advanced then his world, he knew that much...]

It is, yes - although how it's loaded and works depends on what kind; the gunpowder's built into the bullet cartridges anymore, and most of them are either revolvers like mine, or semi-automatics... if you found loose bullets, then they're probably meant for a revolver - If I could see them and the gun, I could give you more information on it.

If you will allow me a moment to get somewhere a bit more secure.

[D'eon looks about for a place to get some good cover. He ducks down an alley, unfortunately there's an undead lumbering towards the Frenchman. Unfortunately for the undead of course.]

Pardon me for a but a moment...

[D'eon places the blackberry in his pocket. After a few moments of various grunts and shuffling noises, D'eon takes the blackberry. He's on a fire escape, the zombie moaning and attempting to shuffle around beneath him. The brief shot of the zombie below reveals that it's missing a leg from the knee down forcing it into a kneeling position. Zombies make fantastic spring board when jumping up to a fire escape.

D'eon flicks the gore from his sword before sheathing it. He takes the rifle from over his shoulder and a handful of bullets and shows them to the screen.]
