001 - Naomi Misora - [Accidental Audio]
Cannot believe this.
[The woman's voice is harsh. Who ever this is, she clearly sounds annoyed not to mention exasperated. It has been a long day.]
What?
[There's a scraping noise as the recording device gets lifted from the bed. Naomi has finally discovered the blackberry and is now examining it. So, this really had been a kidnapping attempt after all, and she's not alone. As Misora scrolls through the contact list, she suddenly realizes that she's being recorded.
There's a loud THUD as she drops the device on the ground as though it had been coated with a layer of acid.
Naomi scowls at it, feeling absurd as if someone had just pulled a juvenile prank on her. None of this made any sense. Why would someone abduct her and leave her alone in a room, unrestrained and still armed? Why would they even take the time to decorate that room in the likeness of the one she had back home? A stalker or voyeur of some sort? She had to choke back some vomit at the thought. More importantly, why this device? It had come preloaded with numbers, possibly other victims'. Perhaps it belonged to the kidnappers themselves. Regardless, clearly who ever sent her here had intended for her to use it to contact those others (it's unlikely that kidnappers so detail-oriented about making this room look exactly like her own would be careless enough to mistakenly leave a phone in plain sight), but that made all the less sense.
How irritating it is to play into someone else's hands, but what else is there to do? Naomi picks the device back up and clears her throat.]
Hello. Is anyone getting this?
[She deliberates for a moment but finally decides to say no more. She already feels silly enough as it is.]

[Audio/Private/UH] suuuuuuuuuure test my limited remembering lol
That was the LA Murder Case, the man who called himself 'Ryuzaki' and to whom tried to be his own last victim if my line of thought is correct. I had contacted you on your own personal computer- which I had you rid yourself of shortly after our talking. While you were on leave I employed you as my right hand in the situation there while I tracked Beyond Birthday.
Then, my question to you is- who do you think I am?
[Audio/Private/UH] i do this b/c i <3 you :3
[She almost blurted that out. Oh hell, she did blurt it out, more as a sign of acknowledgement than an actual answer to his question. There's no doubt about it. It's him.]
Mmm. I apologize. I had to make sure it was you.
L, how long have you been here?
[Audio/Private/UH] LIES *SOB* xD
Do not apologize. It is necessary to question a few things upon arrival.
I have been here for around five months. Please settle in, Agent Misora. I will be in contact with you.
[Audio/Private/UH] <333
[No, she does not want to settle. She wants to leave.
... Although if L hadn't even already figured out a way to escape then ...]
Wait. This story about the Author. Her powers to bring in people from different dimensions and timelines. I'm sure you've heard of it. Are you going to confirm this as truth?
[Audio/Private/UH]
Mmn. This is also true.
She, and she alone it seems, has the power to both send and retrieve people from multiple time lines. Though. I have never seen a person in duplicate.
[Audio/Private/UH]
Alright.
[The way he just told her to "settle down," as if all of this was as normal an occurence as any ...]
Should I assume I'm in no danger here, then?
