20th bomb || Hayato Gokudera || [in person]

[anyone walking by the parlor will discover a rare sight. Hayato is resting relatively quietly. He's sitting on the couch his bad leg kicked up on the table, and he's watching T.V. more specifically, Star Wars. He's got a notebook on his lap, filled with his schematics and formulas, and off to the side he's got some of his tools and some unfinished mechanisms for his explosives. He's essentially turned the area into his little fort.

He looks up to the movie over the rim of his glasses from time to time, maybe grabbing a handful of popcorn, but over all he's focused on his work.]

[Oh jeeze, how do you even BEGIN to describe Star Wars?!]

Well, the universe is under the thumb of an inter-galactic Empire. The story follows the rebellion against them. And then there's this one guy trainin' to become a Jedi, which is like a space samurai with pyschic powers, it's reall badass.

[If he's honest: That sounds ridiculous. But being honest is probably the worst idea ever.]

[The teen adjusts his glasses and takes up his screwdriver and one of his bomb mechanisms and begins to tinker with it.]

[Well, figures that Hayato would say so. Ryuutaro spents some time looking at the movie, but then his look wanders to Hayato's bomb-buildings. It is interesting to see him work on them instead of just using them. It gives the entire thing a different feeling]

[Hayato notices the staring, and smiles proudly before leaning over to show Ryuutaro what he's doing]

I'm working on my self-propelling dynamite. I came up with an idea while the manor was gone, usually they just change direction once, but I figured if I modified them right I could actually get them to make a 180 degree turn. Would give me the advantage in situations where my opponent is hiding around a corner.

[Ryuutaro listens carefully and then smiles brightly]

[The teen smiles, but glances away, bashfully rubbing the back of his neck bashfully]

Ah... it's nothin' really... I'm just good at this sorta thing...

Which I wouldn't call 'nothing' then.

[Complimenting Hayato sometimes felt more like teasing him. It was endlessly amusing.]

W-well.... it is what got me in the Vongola...

[And lookit him fidget awkwardly with his bomb mechanism]

That's what I meant.

[Ryuutaro will never get tired of this. One of the things he liked about Hayato without wondering why.

[And he smiles proudly... in all his time in the Vongola he had never really gotten a compliment for his bombs specifically. Not that he ever needed them of course! He was fully aware that he was good at his craft if nothing else, he just never expected a compliment for it.]
