Hello? [Fran sat up, taking in the area where she now found herself. Being surrounded by trees wasn't particularly alarming to her, but this was not where she recalled having fallen asleep.

She tilted her head slightly, as if listening for something. But nothing answered. There was no responding hume voice and the Woods were as silent as they had been to her for many years now. There is another moment spent in silence before she takes note of the communication device in the grass next to her.

The viera reaches out, curiously tapping the screen with a long fingernail that's more like a claw before picking the device up and turning it in her hands.] What manner of technology is this?

[The question was thoughtful, musing in a way that suggested she didn't expect an answer. When she stops turning the device, focusing on what appears to be the screen, a tanned woman with white hair and bunny ears comes into view. She appears to be wearing some sort of ornate leather helmet and her eyes are narrowed as she looked the screen over.]

[Weiss looks dumbfounded into the machine in front of him, taking a little moment to play with his lip, then makes an upside down V with his hands, meaning 'house'.]

[Fran frowns a little at the apparent lack of speech from this rather odd hume. What he intends to communicate isn't entirely clear to her, although he might, perhaps, be indicating some sort of dwelling.] A building, is it? [She decides not to ask if the hume can actually speak or not. If he wishes to, and is able, he will. It's not something to be pried at.]

[Weiss (http://www.cosplayisland.co.uk/files/costumes/221/4163/wonderweiss35op.jpg)tilts his head slowly, much like a little lost puppy, then nods and tries to say the word 'building' and fails miserably. However, he thinks he's done a great job and will be proud that he attempted it at least.]

Mn Bau-nee..

[She's never seen a hume act in such a manner before, but at least he's attempting to be helpful and he doesn't seem to be rude. But it didn't seem that he could communicate effectively through speech. Perhaps simple questions would be best.] This is not in Ivalice?

[Simple is much better when it comes to Weiss, that's for certainly. The only person who seemed to be able to communicate wasn't the most personable and the other had gone some time ago. Two others, if you include his superior.

He shakes his head and makes the signal for house again, this is a manor after all.]

[At that, Fran frowns slightly. Asking where this place is probably won't get her anywhere with this hume's limited conversational skills. Although if this isn't Ivalice, knowing where it is won't actually do her much good.] Is there anything else here, aside from this... building and these Woods?

[Wonderweiss contemplates it a little bit of a moment. This wasn't going to be able to be answered with general teachings from Gokudera. He ponders a moment and picks up his guide, turning it off.]

[ACTION]

[Moments later a black wall opens up within the same room as the 'Pretty Bunny' so says Weiss, and he steps out of it partially, beckoning her with a movement of his hand. Trying his best to use what Gokudera has been working so hard to instill in him, he even tries to speak.]

Haauuu...
Mng ...C-come-- sh-oooow.

[When the black wall appears, Fran quickly moves to her feet, unsure what to make of it. And then the hume that she had been speaking with steps from it. She isn't obvious about looking the boy over, but she makes a note of the hole in his chest that doesn't seem to adversely affect him. Fran also realizes, now that he is standing in front of her, that this is not a hume. Although what exactly it is, she isn't certain. But he doesn't seem to mean her any harm even if he is offering an unusual method of transport, so she takes a step towards him, tilting her head slightly and trying to sense what this blackness is.

After a moment she decides to trust him and closes the small distance left between them.] This blackness, it will allow for transport here?

[Wonderweiss takes the opportunity to look her over as well, it's more to assess if she's going to attack than anything else, but her composure is such that he's calm as she is. He steps to the side allowing for her to pass when she's ready.

With a nod of his head he indicates that, yes, this is the mode of transportation, at least for him.]

[He gestures for her to follow again, extending his hand to lead her. As long as she gives him no reason to rip her arm off.]

[Since there seems to be no harm in doing so - even if she's not sure what this hume look-a-like is - Fran steps forward. As she takes his offered hand, she's careful to ensure that her claw-like nails won't harm him. She glances over her should once more before facing forward again, shaking her hair, and stepping into the darkness. Whatever this is, it is no magick that she's familiar with. But at least it doesn't reek of mist.] You can travel anywhere like this?

[The claws not harming him, probably a good idea. Probably the best idea she'd ever had in her life.]

Ahuh..

[He gently pulls her along, soon enough from the darkness the slats open up and he's taken her to the clinic. He makes the symbol for house that he used before and points the way to where the house lays directional wise. From there, he moves to the window to show her, and show her some of the other parts of the grounds. Of course he's got no definitive names for them, but you see the best from the clinic, he thinks.]

[Fran follows him silently, allowing him to lead her through the darkness, her hand resting lightly in his. When they emerge from the darkness she pulls her hand back, watching as he makes the symbol with his hands again. She follows him to the window, looking out to see the building that he must have been talking about.] It is dwelling. Who lives there?

[The architecture was unlike any that she'd seen in Ivalice, but it looked similar enough to a building that humes might use for a place to live. Certainly nothing like a palace. It was more humble than that. Of course, in this place, who knew what purpose it might have.]

[Wonderweiss quickly loses interest in looking out the window and picks up some shiny bits of paper clips or whatever have you in his state of ever-magpie-ness. He does turn his head when she speaks though then points at her and points at himself. They do of course.]

[House Symbol (even if he's holding clips)]

[Pointing to himself. Pointing to her.]

[Pointing to the manor.]

It is meant for us to live in? [She frowns a little at that revelation. They were supposed to stay here, then, and live? What this place was, exactly, was still unclear to her.

Fran notes the non-humes distractibility with the clips, but it isn't as though he's ignoring her, so it doesn't bother her.] This place, you are not from here either?
