Spell 47 .: Elphaba :. What a shame, what a shame, to judge a life that you can't change [In person]
[Elphaba is in the library, trying her best to ignore her Mother's ghost; unfortunately for her, Melena is as persistant as she is beautiful, and soon Elphaba's book is page down on the table, it's holder turned angrily in her seat. Only, she isn't angry as such, not at her mother anyway. More at herself, in a strange way. Of course Melena was disappointed with her - that was all she was ever going to be when it came to her eldest daughter. But, despite all reason and rationale in Elphaba's mind telling her that pleasing a dead woman wasn't important, a small part of her still wanted acceptance from the one person every child should be able to turn to.
As it stands, however, the two are currently arguing - or rather, having a 'heated debate']
You always were difficult, even as a baby. I couldn't believe-
Not many people can, mother, but here I am. It's not my fault you ate something funny or drank too much..or what was it Father said that caused my skin colour?..
That's not what I was going to say
Really? Well, there's something unexpected
But now that you mention it, perhaps if you'd been-
Ah yes, that was it! It was because I was cursed!
Elphaba! For Oz' sake, let me finish!
What's the point?? I know what you're going to say, and you know what, I'll make it really damn simple for you; I'm not Nessa, nor would I ever want to be. I'm not sorry I'm not what you wanted, and I won't apologise for who I am.
[Getting to her feet, this would be where Elphaba would push past Melena..if she was, y'know, solid..]
[Feel free to bump into Elphie coming out of the library, in the library, wherever =]]

[In Person]
Bravo, dear. Standing up for yourself, I see. That's good.
[The ghost behind Emma puts in her own two cents.]
I wouldn't listen to her. She's overly dramatic. Her words are poison.
Oh, do shut up, Adrienne.
[In Person]
It's not as if I have much of a choice
[With a ghost-weary glance shot at Adrienne, Elphaba continues on her way out the door]
((Feel free to have Emma follow her if you want - I didn't want this to come across as 'I don't wanna tag, so here's her running for the hills' XD;; ))
[In Person]
It's important to let others know how you feel about them. Even if they're dead.
[Adrienne's tone is bitter.]
Or you could just kill them instead!
Tuh. You'll never get over that.
[Emma follows Elphaba.]
Is there anything you'd like to talk about concerning...that?
[In Person]
There's not a lot to talk about. What you see is what you get
[In Person]
[Over Emma's shoulder, Adrienne just scowls and broods. From this angle, the bloody bullet hole in her stomach is quite apparent.]
