[The feed comes to life to show a young boy with glasses made dusty by the building he's woken up in. He doesn't particularly seem to care about the dust, though, instead glancing around as though someone might pop out from the shadows any moment.]

Hello?... Um, I'm not sure where I am, but it's really dark and scary and I don't know where my friends went... [He takes his glasses off, wipes them with his shirt and hurriedly returns them to his face.] And nobody else is around! Are we playing a game? It's not a very fun one... I don't like it.

[Tenatively:] Ran-neechan? Kogoro-ojiisan?

[And now he'll leave the Blackberry on video as he waits for someone to fill him in.]

[ There. Where the taller and older Chidori stood was replaced by a small girl ---with light brown hair. ]

---explain this, genius.

[ Crossing her arms. She'd waiting. ]

[Flatly:]

Neechan must've have just pulled a flash bomb and then taken off her makeup. [Obviously, Chidori had always been a small girl and had, for some reason, been disguising as an older one.

Conan's seen people(read: Kaitou Kid) completely change their appearance, so Chidori's change doesn't faze him much.]

[ At first --- she just stares at him. Was there something wrong with this guy's eyes? Seriously? ]

I could do all that in a second? What if I told you I could do it again?

In a snap!

[...] Neechan...

[Conan suddenly pulls at Chidori's face, checking to see if it's real skin. He stops after he realises that Chidori isn't wearing a mask of some kind.]

Kaitou Kid can do the same thing too! I had to make sure that you're not him.

Ouch! [ She jumps back when he pulls on her face. What was that for? ]

Hey!

[ Then --- stares. Kaitou Kid? Who was that? ] I don't even know who that person is!

You're such a weirdo!

[... Someone who didn't know who the thief was.

This would definitely deflate his ego, if Kid had heard that.]

Kid is a stupid thief who likes to play dress up. [Glare.] I'm not weird! You are!

How am I weird! Anyone would get mad if someone did that to you.

[ And to demonstrate --- she pulls on his cheek too. See how you like it. ]

I am not! You're the weird one!

Ow! [Conan swats Chidori's hand away.] I only did it because you said that you could fly and then lied about how you really look like!

No, you are!

I did not lie! Chidori always looks like that when she uses her powers. I told you! Chidori is part Tennyo!

[ Hands on her hips. ]

[Sticks his tongue out. SO MATURE.]

No, you are!

[ Ungrateful brat. Sticks out her tongue too. Very mature adults these two. ]

No! You are! You are! You are! You are! You are! You are! You are! You are! Times infinity!

[Stomps his foot. >(]

No! You are you are you are! Times infinity plus one!

[ Stomps BOTH feet. ]

No! You --- [ Her mature and carefully thought retort was interrupted by a sound. And one thing was for sure --- it definitely wasn't a kitty and it definitely didn't sound like it wanted to play. ]

[More like the sound of metal scraping over cement. Who could possibly be pulling metal around???

There are two of them, struggling to reach Chidori and Conan, but having a lot of difficulty-- They look like they're gonna topple over any moment. Conan breaks off his retort to stare at them.]

Chidori-neechan? What are those? [He's backing up, just a bit.]

[ Okay. She is scared and was frozen in place for a few seconds as they struggled to reach them.

What were they? She was not going to stay long enough to find out. She grabs Conan's hand and begins running. ]

I don't know! And Chidori doesn't want to stay and find out!

[He nearly trips when she pulls his hand and starts running, but manage to try and keep up with her.]

N-neechan, I can't run so fast!

[ She pauses and with just a blink another shot of pink light appeared and she was her taller and older form again. Her hair was blue and her eyes were gold.

Too scared to think of anything else, she picks him up. Her hands are shaking. She hated ghosts and monsters.

Seeing the Lying Figure still --- coming closer --- she screamed and shot up to the sky. ]

I'm not scared ... I'm not scared... that is not scary...

[The light caused Conan to look away, only to let out a startled gasp when Chidori's feet left the ground.]

N-neechan?

[Upon hearing her terrified words, his voice softened and he didn't push the matter of her apparent flying.]

It's okay, neechan. Someone's just playing a trick on us.

[And then I guess several large crows dove in for an assault.]

[ This was not a trick Conan. And she had seen enough to know it isn't.

The crows weren't helping at all, she was scared too scared really to focus fighting back using her powers. Instead, she instinctively hugs Conan tighter and surrounds them in a pink sphere that served as a shield. This was the best she can do for now. ]

I'm not ... scared ...

[ She bursts out crying. ]

I want to see my mama! I'm scared!

[The crows couldn't seem to get into the sphere, but were still determinedly butting it. Conan's mind whirled as he tried to think of the possible reasons how it was possible- Was it all some crazy dream or hallucination? It certainly felt real.]

Chidori-neechan, it'll be fine... It's not scary! Look, you can fight off the scary birds!

[Conan gestured vaguely at the area around them, and then awkwardly patted Chidori's arm. He really didn't know how to comfort people at all.]

[ Still shaking, she hesitantly looks around them. The crows were stubbornly trying to get through.

She wasn't sure if she could do that. Lately --- he powers weren't like they used to be. She needed --- to stop being scared and get mad --- pretend --- that these were just any Mikage henchmen. ] I can try...

[ She closes her eyes and tries to concentrate despite the sound of crows. ] Go away... go away... GO AWAY!

[ The sphere becomes bigger and pushes the birds back. Some of them even vaporized in the blast that followed. ]

[Conan's eyes widened as he watched a few of the crows die. Unfortunately, the remaining few seemed to feed off Chidori's underlying fear and were insistently trying to get to them, causing more deaths.]

[Conan decided not to say anything yet, aware that Chidori was trying to concentrate on what she was doing, and focused instead on how she was doing it. Some kind of force field?]

[ A lot of concentration is needed to do this. So she is just being quiet. And she also knew she had to hurry because she had to save a lot of her energy if she was going to survive this week.

She was sweating and getting more and more tired. ]

DIE!

[ With one last blast of energy, she finished up the remaining birds.

But when she was done --- she was panting tiredly. ]

[Conan was still pondering about Chidori's powers, but her fatigue worried him... especially since they were still in the air.]

Neechan, you should land and take a break...
