[Well this was certainly odd. Jade didn't exactly know what to expect when she went crashing through the fourth wall but this definitely wasn't it. Wow, being a dog sure was neat, though. It was like she was Bec now! Only ...without the crazy Devilbeast powers, as Dave called it. Also disregarding the fact that she kind of already was Bec before. Wow, this got confusing fast.]



[wandering curoiusly through the halls is another Growlithe but seriously on the shaggy side and stopping other pokemon to sniff at or ask a question. Arf c:]

[And along bounds a Minun! ...who is sporting a familiar shock of (dark blue instead of black) messy hair, pair of rectangular, thick-framed glasses, and hood that is easily four times as long as he is. He slows to a hop, pauses, and niffs the air, perking his ears at the Growlith.]

[He then proceeds to wave cheerfully.]

[Oh! Hey!!

That looked just like John! John was a bunny!! How fitting and adorable at the same time! Oh man she bet he'd be fun to chase!!

Wait maybe she shouldn't do that. But she should go say hi, anyways! Jade leaped and bounced her way over to John.]

[Momentarily alarmed, John sort of crouched and tried to look small and disappear into his hood, but ...then there was a familiar voice and.]

[And his sister was a Growlithe.]

Jade!! Gosh, I guess that's why I couldn't find you, you're a Growlithe!

[Pauses.]

John, do you know where we are?

He's called a Minun. Dave and I match-- he's a Plusle, so he's red and the marks on his cheeks are plus signs. [He taps his cheeks idly and then sits on his fluffy little bunny haunches.]

Not really! But apparently everybody's Pokemon right now.

Pokemon? I--Ohhhhh, wait I think I know what this is.

Yeah, I know right?? Apparently everybody's God Tier, 'cause he's got a silly hood and a cape. Imagine Dave in a cape, Jade. Imagine it with me. [Serious bunny face.]

[And then he briefly breaks out in the opening theme song. ...somewhat off-key.]

He's God Tier? But he-- .... [And she pauses to look at him while he makes such a serious bunny face. And then zlsfjkljdgsl the song. She can't help it, she bursts into a fit of giggles. Puppy giggles.]

[He breaks off and starts laughing with her, then hops over and leans against one of her fluffy puppy legs.]

[And she will butt her head into him in a similar show of affection.]

I'm glad we're both okay. And that Dave is okay. Do you know if Rose is okay?

[His ears sag a little, and he shrugs his shoulders.]

I-- was sort of afraid to ask. [And then, quickly--] But I mean, come on. She's Rose. If Dave's okay, she's gotta be okay.

...probably, yeah. Or at least been a little... [Frowns.] Okay no, Dave doesn't really do the expressive thing at all, and he still wears shades all the time. He's like some kind of freak cool bunny or something, but I guess that's Dave for you.

[ Deadpan drawl from a nice, semi-safe perch up above. Dave's gotten the hang of clambering on shit, even with his cape. ]

[Ears shoot up and Jade looks around for the source of he voice. There you are. It's a mix of excitement and relief and guilt and anger all in one reaction.]

[ His ears actually swivel back a little, sort of guiltily. He has a feeling he knows what this bone is. ]

[She's still really happy to see him though.]

[ But even as he eyes the both of them, he's clambering and hopping down to their level. ]

[John's ears swivel at Dave's voice and he grins a little, sitting back on his bunny rump and fiddling with his hood.] See? Told you we matched.

[He frowns a little at Jade's shifting expressions, her words, and then especially at Dave's question.]

...uh, guys? What'd I miss?

We met a bit of a bump in our frog collecting field trip.

[ Dave comes closer to the two of them, until he can settle next to John in front of Jade, despite whatever (actually notable) hesitance that he may have. ]

A bu-- what?! [He jerks away from Dave for a moment, and then right back to him, pawing him with his stupid little bunny feet.] You didn't tell me you got shot!!

[ His ears stay back, at both Jade's exclamation and John's pawing. He raises one of his own paws to bat back at him, hoping he'll stop.

And then he sighs. He does not admit to knowing this was going to happen. ] Jack found us. We were doing all right, until the fucker used Jade's devilbeast's powers against us.

There was so much blood. Why didn't you go back and stop me!? I --... [If a dog could pout. She is so pouting at you, Dave. Also really upset.]

[John does stop, but only after Jade stops talking, at which point he sort of slides away and can't quite decide what to think. He shoots a sort of hurt, almost betrayed look at Dave for not telling him, and then hops over to Jade and folds his ears back, nuzzling at her a little.]

Hey, he's here now, isn't he? Doesn't look like he's full of holes or anything, either. We're okay.

[ Dave takes the looks and the pouting in, well, stride, because he had absolutely no plans of mentioning it to John if he could've helped it. Oh, yeah, by the way! Your sister kind of killed me! isn't exactly the best conversation to have ever, nevermind as fuzzy ass rabbits.

He shifts forward, butting his head under Jade's chin. He's never been one for positive physical contact, but she kind of deserves it right now. ]

You didn't do it, Jade. Jack did. And, hey, I doubt it's gonna help, but it all turned out for the best in the end.

[John sits back on his haunches and watches them, twitching his stupid little bunny nose for a while and then fidgeting with the end of his hood.]

[ Pap paps her on the floofy Growlithe chest with a paw, before he shifts back and away from her after a bit. He settles himself so that he's seated between the two of them, making sure he's not plopped onto his cape. ]

[John continues to fidget with his hood in silence, eventually scooting back over to Jade and butting his head against her again. He moves away just as quickly, keeping his hood held between his bunny forelegs, and kind of looks between them.]

...so is there anything else I should know about stuff that happened while I was doing other things? I guess this is sort of our chance to catch up.

It's okay. [ Dave really is fine--in a sort of abstract kind of way--with both of them being mad with him. It was necessary at the time, and he does feel some amount of guilt for not informing anyone of the haphazard plan he'd apparently put together. So, he figures he deserves it. ]

... well, if we're all in the same spot on the timeline, I'm fine with getting everyone up to speed.

I haven't done any timehopping since our run-in with Jack, so I can't speak for everyone, exactly.

[ He counts on his bunny 'fingers' as he speaks. ] Rose and I met up on Derse, headed off to blow shit up, ran into yet another dark, hard-skinned fuckface that tried to kill us but failed, blew shit up and went god tier, and had just met up with a pair of trolls before I wound up here.
