#005 // in person // accidental video
[What you see is, without a doubt, Kanda, however he looks quite different from what you may be used to. He looks much older, for one. A few silver threads show in the thick strand of hair hanging down over his left temple, and there are traces of cracks that seem to be forming a sun-like figure over where his heart should be. His expression is unusually peaceful, almost a little tired, as he turns his head to gaze out into the garden of the Manor, apparently sitting in some sort of a terrace. From what can be seen, he's dressed in a somewhat reserved yet careless fashion, including a loose, white shirt with a rather wide collar which isn't buttoned all the way up.]
[He's holding a sketchbook and a pencil, in a somewhat tranquil manner that might be familiar to that of a certain General's, as he seems to carefully examine the view. Then he pulls out a pair of glasses, puts it on and starts drawing. Slow, soft lines grow on the blank paper, gradually creating a replica of the lovely sight ahead.]
[It seems that he isn't paying attention to anything else at the moment.]

(( ooc: Beware the headcanon! ...played over the idea that Exorcists grow up to be like their Generals, so far supported by Allen's le Cross lines and Kanda's recent choice of clothing. He's(somehow actually survived to) forwarded to around 35-45 here. Have fun? ))

What's... going on here?
/idk what am i doing /)_(\
Hm?
[Well, if the sight was surprising, wait until you actually hear him speaking. While he seems to have maintained his blank, somewhat bitter tone, everything else is just... completely off.]
Are you lost, child.
[With that, he finally stops sketching and does turn his head - to look at the youth over his glasses in a somewhat unimpressed but not irritated at all manner.]
[And that's when his eyes widen just a little. Well, this is... unexpected.]
Something beautiful =3
I don't think I'm lost, I've been here a while.
Though...you look familiar like someone I know.
sob <3
...no shit, Walker. Why do you look like a kid?
why sob <3<3
I'm not a kid idiot, I'm a teenager and I look like this because that's what I am.
Are you that blind suddenly or something?
idk <333
[Whoops, Beansprout, you probably walked up too near. Because he's totally reaching up to twist your ear in an old-time teacher fashion, with a seriously scolding expression on his face.]
Show some damn respect when talking to adults, stupid brat.
[A bit more calmly;]
Is it the doing of this place or are you really a Noah now?
no subject
!
Eh?! Really a Noah? Am I that bad or something?
Also to answer you idiot, it's this place, it's rather odd and does things like apparently make you like a grumpy old man.
/...ah... anyone in particular you want to have happened to old!Allen? |D;;
[And then he sighs and leans back into his chair.]
Not really bad. At first it wasn't even in your control.
[Scowls.]
And I'm perfectly jolly.
/...I have no idea...I just wonder if he would live to old age >.>
What wasn't in my control?
You're about as jolly as you usually are, so I'm not sure if that's an improvement in your old age.
/...alright then, same as Cross <.<
The whole Noah thing.
[He frowns, looking at the paper. Now those aren't the most jolly memories at all, especially given the part he himself had played in it. Even if he... tried to make it better.]
Eventually you learned to control it, though. And then one day... you were just gone. Nobody knows anything more.
[He scowls and turns to look at the Beansprout again. Then snorts. Time for a mention of Walker's favorite person.]
Reminds me of General Cross back in the day.
[He twitches just a little bit at the comment, but doesn't seem too offended.]
Che.

Well, at least it doesn't end up all bad, I guess.
Reminds you... of Master?
no subject
Depends.
[After all, he has no idea what happened to the idiot... well, a few idiots, to be exact. And he's not sure he can call himself lucky either - well, maybe to be still alive, not that it's the most thrilling thing in the universe. Sometimes it really does feel like he's seen too much already. But leaving Lenalee all alone would not be a human thing to do.]
[He shrugs a little at the question.]
Sure. You can't say the way you're raised leaves no impact.
[LOOK AT THE LIVING PROOF HERE somewhat.]
