[In Person] EPIC SEA DRAGON BATTLE
*he had a lot to think about. He remembered everything from last week, and if he learned anything it was that his future was a pretty grim thing to look forward to. He'd been dying, his friends were dying. That had been on his mind all week. And that talk with Reborn. He didn't remember it then, but now he clearly remembers the baby who'd helped him after he fell down the stairs. And if that wasn't the weirdest thought he'd ever had.
He was going to have to talk to him again.
But first, he had to get his thoughts straight, and to be honest? Having a fish tail and being decked out in armor certainly wasn't helping. He needed to be away from everyone for a little while, so he made sure Hakuba wasn't lurking in their room and booked it out the window. It took him the better part of an hour to figure out the intricacies of swimming, but after that he moved as far from the manor as he could get.
There was a cave a bit away that seemed a good place to just sit and be alone, but just his luck there was already an occupant.
Really, he should have known. Things always happened this way for him and of COURSE he would run across the most dangerous thing in the world when they were all apparently undersea. He'd mistakenly thought the worse thing he'd have to avoid were the sharks, but he was desperately wrong.
Everyone in the manor may notice the giant sea serpent thrashing in the water chasing a much smaller form. Heiji is now very grateful for the armor, and the bone sword, as it was doing a great job keeping him alive.*

[He managed a pretty good clip sprint-swimming out to where the whole chase was going on; the kelp forest wasn't that far away, and hell, as much as he wasn't armored, at least the lionfish spines, fins, and markings were a giant, blaring "POISONOUS" sign.]
HATTORI! OVER HERE!
[Don't worry, he's not covering you with muck this time! Just trying to signal over towards the kelp where, you know, there's a chance of losing the giant angry sea dragon.]

It wasn't distracted for long, however, and made off after him with a roar.*

[Failing that, he was pretty sure he could survive getting a fin chewed on, but was crossing fingers it wouldn't.]

Smacking the serpent again, twice, he risks another dive around the creature to tangle it and lose himself in its coils again, skating across the ground finally to make it into the forest, heading for where he saw Hakuba*

[At least the kelp forest is pretty good for cover and hiding places.]

*you look like a cartoon, Hakuba*

Are you alright?

*The serpent hisses at them from the left, searching for them in the forest*
Well, I will be when we get away from that thing.
