Dear residents of the Manor,

seeing that this is a relatively quiet week, I want to use the time we've got to bring some organizational things to your attention.
It occurred to me that there seems to be no up-to-date reference for who to turn to when seeking for help.
But as I know there are lots of people with different useful skills at this place, so I'd like to set up a list.

If you would like to appear in this list, would you mind telling me what your profession or talent is and what you could help people with?

I don't think my profession would work in a place like this.

Given the fact that I'm a detective, there really isn't much in terms of work to do. Add to that the number of people who might have a similar job to me you might say too many cooks spoil a broth.

You're right, the Author seems to enjoy bringing detectives to this place, we've had a lot at some point.

I wouldn't say there's nothing to do though. Even if there have not been real cases lately, there has already been a time when all the detectives we had did not seem to be enough.

I'm prosecutor to this place and if you'd like to cooperate with me and the other detectives in case it's needed, it would be appreciated.

I would like to cooperate, given the circumstances, we need all the help we can get, but I am also willing to help others that need it in terms of self defence. I can use a gun and also I don't think the author is so kind to us when it comes to that sort of thing, I'd like to teach people who want to learn basic gun safety.

That's a good thing. I know that some of the residents are not trained in use of weapons at all and while I usually would not want it to come to this, I think in this place it's best to be. We get too many monsters.

Even though I have to admit I'm rather uneducated in weaponry as well. I can operate a gun, but not properly. If you could teach me a bit more, I'd be grateful.

Very well, the next time there is a plot that requires it, I'll make sure to teach whoever wants it.

I'll make sure it is. If I recall right you've been protecting the younger ones during the serial killings?

Hello, Richard Castle here...

I'm a mystery writer, so aside from having a better grasp on literary concept than the Author seems to have, I'm not entirely sure what else I have to offer you.

Well, actually, before I came here I worked with the NYPD as a consultant for murder cases, so in a round about way I'm kind of a detective. My partner...from the police department, is here too. I would say we're fairly set for detectives, if Beckett's 'murder board' is any indication.

[And more people involved with law and police business somehow. There definitely was a trend here. Ever since Mikami got to the Manor there had been an overdose of police officers and detectives.
And while he does not know what he should make of a writer engaging in police work, he's thankful for any willing help.
There might not have been any crimes lately, but that didn't mean a thing. They'd had serial killings none of them could stop and Mikami did not want that to ever happen again]

I'd be glad to welcome you and your partner in the group of people involved in the law enforcement. While we don't actually have a continuous system, there is a general agreement to cooperate between the detectives and police officers of the Manor. I'm personally involved as well, I'm a prosecutor.
There might not have been cases lately, but that doesn't have to mean a thing. We've had complicated work in the past.

My Partner and I are..WERE Deputies, back home...at one time.

So, basically we know a bit about weapons, and have police training.

[Rick pauses after sending that initial message and sends a follow up.]

We have experience dealing with Zombies.

[Yeah..that sounded better in his head.. Well, experience is experience.]

That might come in handy someday again. If you can deal with zombies, what about other kinds of monsters?
I'm not sure how similar they are, but we seem to get a variety of them.

[Honestly, if Rick hadn't experienced them first hand back home he'd never imagine he'd ever admit to having dealt with them. Zombies...aren't supposed to be real, but tell that to the hoards of walking dead back home.]

Sorry, we dealt with Zombies back home. Closest we got to other monsters would have been very bad people. I'm not sure what other kinds of monsters you have had to deal with here, but we've found that generally head shots tend to put things down rather quickly.

While I do not typically offer my aid to others, I seem to owe you a great deal. Should you find yourself in a particular bind, feel free to contact me. My only request is that this is not brought to the attention of others.

[He did not like this feeling... he associated it with being in debt... but he knew that wasn't the case. It was this obnoxious urge to prevent harm Te- Mikami undoubtedly left over sentiments from his childhood. Hopefully it would be over soon...]

I have done my best to keep my abilities quiet for my stay here, as I am sure you can understand. Best not give any greedy minds ideas.

[Mikami just stares at this message for a few minutes, reading it again and again. This was not what he had intended, not what he had been asking for. He wanted help and assistance for others, protect them, keep them save. He would not be able to forgive himself if anything happened to the good people in the Manor. He felt like it was his responsibility to organize any possible thing to keep them save.

And this... He wasn't sure how to feel. It was just weird. People came to Mikami for help, that's what he wanted and how it was.
And yet here was Mukuro, a murderer, offering to help him out and just him.]

I understand fully and I was not planning to refer anybody to you.
[Mukuro was unrighteous. He would not ever send people to him anyway.

[It was just being polite... Nothing more. Mikami refused to think of the fact that usually he was not polite to the unrighteous]

[He stared at the feed for a moment. Then scoffed at the message sent after. He wouldn't reply further. He had no need to. The message had been clear.]

I'm Heiji, can't remember offhand if we'd met before yet. Prolly did.

You can add me to the list of detectives, but I also know kendo an' I'm damned good in a fight. I can teach anybody if they wanna learn.

[Thinking about it, he himself should probably learn a bit more. At least how to properly operate a gun... if not some more things. He was physically strong, but that was all there was]

I wouldn't deny a couple people t'train with in the mornings. Don't wanna get rusty.

I'll list you as possible self defense instructor then, as well as for being a detective. Is that alright?

I'm a telepath, so I can offer my assistance at times when the blackberries are not the best form of communication, or if they don't work at all. My range is pretty significant, so I could talk to anyone in this place.

[As much as Mikami personally detested when people got into his head, he could not deny that it was useful. It was a bit odd though, that one of the persons he could along with was in fact a telepath.]

That's indeed a useful skill. I assume you can filter things away from different persons as well?

That's good, just in case that there'll be a situation in which secrecy is extremely important again.
This did not happen for quite some time, but you never know.

...my skills aren't really anything special, but I'll list them just in case someone actually needs them.

I'm a good cook, I'll help clean (don't expect me to do your chores for you, I'm not a maid!), I'm a karate champion so I can help in things that require strength, I play piano...I also know some first aid, can sew, knit...

...I think that's it...unless Conan has anything to add?

Those are valuable skills.
Especially your strength as well as the first aid and maybe the sewing might come in handy sooner or later.

I'd like to list you for those, if you'd be alright with assisting people if it's really necessary.
