[She was pissed. That was truly the only way to describe Amanda right now.
Being back at the manor was one thing, but like this? It was laughable and stupid.
Scowling...or attempting to scowl, a little black kitten with a silver key around her neck was stalking through the halls. If she'd known that damn bunny could do this, she'd have tried harder to kill him. Hissing under her breath, she would have looked vicious if she wasn't so very fluffy.]

[He WOULD'VE warned her...really... if she'd been less inclined to shoot him for "stupid shit that doesn't make any sense"; he'd figured it'd take firsthand experience for her to accept that no, he WASN'T making things up, but... well... it could've been worse.]
[...Must not taunt happy fun serial-killer-assistant.]
...For what it's worth, that only lasts for a week.

She didn't care it it lasted a week, an hour, or a year...okay, that last one she would care about. But it was a matter of he turned her into a kitten that really burned her ass. Hearing Saguru's words as more of an 'I told you so', she bounded forward like a furry cannonball and took a swipe at his ankle.]

I would've warned you, but you didn't seem like you'd accept anything too crazy-sounding at the time, and I didn't feel like you shooting me if you didn't believe me.

She'd get him when he least expected it.]

Do you want something to eat? The kitchen can't be easy to navigate like that.

She didn't want to have to rely on him for anything, but...finding things to eat wasn't the easiest in this form.
Mewling in impatience, her tail twitched in agitation. He was still on her shit list, but this may make things a little better for him in the end.]

[And at least it wasn't that far to the kitchen; he kept pace enough to open the door to the kitchen as she got there, heading to the fridge to look through for meat and fish - anything plant-based would just make her sick right now.]
[Of course, having a sleeve disappear in the shaft of sunlight from the side of the kitchen curtains netted a narrowed look at the window; this again.]
[There was one other question of possibly touchy nature - depending on how fussy she is and how adapted she is to being a cat...]
[Well, probably better to be at least attempting something resembling cooking; he's getting a pan down to go with the strips of beef.]
There are a few other things that'll do the same thing if you attack them - not many, and it seems dependent on the event, but plots where violence would be "horribly out of place" usually end up with backdrop "people" given the same protection.

Dashing to the table, she sat by the leg of a chair, feeling more secure in the shadowed location. He'd find she wasn't necessarily a picky eater; growing up, she had to learn to take what she could get...if she was even fed some nights.
Tilting her head as she saw his sleeve disappear, she couldn't help but notice how very interesting that was. So...apparently sunlight was making clothing disappear. Slowly making her way from under the table, she stood against his leg, digging her claws into his pants as she mewled in question.
In the meantime...she may have to attempt keeping her temper in check. This was hell and she wasn't relishing going through this again.]
