[The feed turns on to show a face that hasn't been around for a while. Kyoji Kasshu is back in the manor, and he seems to be a bit confused and annoyed.]
Could someone please tell me what is going on here? I woke up this morning to find the dates on all of my electronics have skipped forward by over a month. One or two could be explained by some kind of error, but all of them skipping forward uniformly is highly unlikely.
[He then brushes his fingers across the top of a computer monitor, disturbing a layer of dust.] And the state of my room seems to suggest there is something strange happening as well. As does the headache I've found myself with. Which suggests this is another oddity of this place. Can someone that has been here longer tell me just what happened exactly?

Sadly, I can say that this happens occasionally; we're not sure why - I'd make a sarcastic joke about the Author forgetting about you, but it might turn out to be accurate. I've had it happen to me a few times, once for about that long.
As for what's going on... well, we've had one of those scenery changes I mentioned.
It's an asylum.
And judging by the way its condition changed from last week to this week, and the calendar, I think it's sliding towards something from a horror movie.
[Doesn't that sound wonderful.]

[He gives a sigh at the other news, and pinches the bridge of his nose. It was much too soon after sleeping for much to long to deal with all of this.]
It seems like each of these "scenery changes" just gets worse and worse. [He is distracted as a beep sounds from somewhere off camera. He gets up for a moment, then returns with a giant steaming cup of coffee. And he looks better already.] Is there ever a scenery change that doesn't end horribly?
