Sixth Act // [In person] - Karma

[If anyone tries to get into the Music Room they'll find that they can't. All they'll be able to hear from within is the loud blaring of a certain song. Inside Kuja's been bound to a chair. His Mary Sue the culprit. Cheerily she's humming along to the tune, magic building up around her hands, a blue colour instead of Kuja's purple. Whilst She's singing loudly to the song she's attacking him with her magic, Kuja having said all he could for the day he can't yell out. He's baffled as to how she over-powered him, but of course, she's so much better than him that she could restrict him from using his magic.

Not long after the song has started there comes the sound of explosions and the crackling of magic. His chair hits the floor, yes, he'd been cruel to her, but he didn't draw the process out. This was like her torturing him. Making sure that every spell caused as much, damage as the last one, building up the pain. He knew this was what she wanted, he could feel himself getting close to trance form his emotions over boiling. How dare she humiliate him like this whilst sounding as though she were strangling a cat in the process.

By the time she's done Kuja's left bleeding and scorched, writhing on the floor. As his magic's been restricted by her he can't transform. If she was going to best him then why didn't she just kill him. He'd rather die than live knowing he was inferior. Everything hurts and he can't heal himself.]

[L only narrows his eyes.] If you attempt to hurt any of us, you will be detained. You will be held accountable for your actions. Our unwanted house guests might be invincible, but we are not. The only thing preventing me from arresting you is the fact that you are severely injured yourself.

If you believe you are the only powerful being here, you are incorrect. You need to rethink your situation very carefully. This is not a place where you would like to make enemies.

Such is the way of tyranny. We are not a dictatorship, and I will not allow one to form.

[Hunched one? Really?] It is for justice. Only that. [He chews on his thumbnail for a moment, looking over Kuja.] Why do you do what you do? You are obsessed with being the strongest, as you say. What do you have to gain from it?

Yes they are. Just because you haven't met any yet does not mean they don't exist. Today you have encountered your first.

[He can tell Kuja's in pretty hurting shape. At this point, drugging him and dragging him somewhere would just reinforce Kuja's own argument. He will opt to show kindness... although if Kuja acts out against any of the manor residents, there will be trouble.]

There will not be a fight to the top. Not here. If we all work together, there can be peace and everyone will be safe.

Are you certain you don't need assistance?

[GOOD. Confusion is GOOD.]

I am hoping you will understand this extension of kindness and spare us harm. As I have said, however, if you do hurt any innocent person here, we will take action against you. By any means necessary.

[He extends a hand to help Kuja up. It's a risk worth taking, to show that things don't have to be all war and opposition.]

[Well. He tried. He straightens again. Or... as straight as L ever gets.]

We do not make sense to you because we go against your cutthroat ideals. There is evidence of kindness without a price.

I do hope you remember what I've said.

[He's not counting on it, but it was worth a shot. He'll walk away now, although he will keep his eyes peeled for someone to use that can beat Kuja, if it comes down to that.]
