Accidental voice
*various murmers and yawns are heard, the typical noises of someone waking up. While stretching an elbow pressed the voice transmitter button but she doesn't notice the blackberry*
Mmmmmm, Joan why didn't you wake me earlier? *silence for a moment* Joan I'm talking to you, aren't you listening *another pause then a huff is heard and then in a sharper tone* Joan, are you ever there? You'd better not be slacking about already you lazy thing.
*the sound of bed curtains being opened and someone stepping onto the floor can be heard* Where are you Joan, this is hardly proper for one of the Queens ladies to be slacking off. Lady Rochford's going to be very displeased *another pause, and then the voice sounds confused*
Where is everyone? *the sound of walking about the room, and the sounds of someone searching are heard, interspersed with the opening and closing of doors as she moves about her rooms* Joan....Mary......Jane......Elizabeth.................Lady Rochford? Where are all of you? I order you to come her right this minute. I'm your Queen, you'd best do as I say!
His Majesty is going to be very upset when he realizes you've left his wife all alone with no one to attend to her. I've not heard the tower is very comfortable, so I suggest you all quit whatever game this is and come out right now.

What an odd sense of narrative the mistress of this house has.]
Your Highness. Please forgive the interruption, and the seemingly impossible way I am communicating with you. But it is my duty to inform you that you are no longer within palace walls.
no subject
Of course I am you, what are you talking about? There's no way anyone just took the Queen of England out of her bed in the middle of the night! Not with the King right there next to me and guards outside our doors!
*starting to sound a little panicked* Where are you, I looked all around here and I didn't find anyone! I demand you come out and show yourself this instant!
no subject
I'm afraid it's a bit more complicated than that, your Highness.
[Henry, did she say? There were several of those, although Eight may have been the most infamous, if he recalls. Of course, the man only had six wives. And perhaps that isn't even the right Henry. Best not to make a guess at her name.]
I cannot show myself because I am not actually in the room with you. If you look around, there should be a small device nearby. That is how I am able to speak with you presently.
no subject
*she didn't before just now, but we'll pretend she has. She's still sounding quite panicked*
What do you mean you're not in the room? If this is some sort of witchcraft I want no part in it. I like my head on my shoulders.

Unfortunately, yes. I'm unsure of the true extent of our captors' powers, but they were able to abduct a number of us from our own homes through magical means. They have given us small boxes with which to communicate to each other, and they seek to use us for their own entertainment.
This is must be quite difficult for your Majesty to hear, but there are a number of us here, finding solidarity in each other to ease the burden. I myself am a butler and have taken over the running of the household, and recently my maid has joined me. We will do our best to serve you.
[He figured it was worth it to mention Meirin, although "her best" is not quite as impressive as Sebastian's.]
no subject
Withcraft, you mean I've been taken here by some kind of evil witches? I'm the Queen of England, I'm not to be used for anyone's entertainment but the King's! Ohhh they are all going to burn for this, you mark my words. Every last one of them!
*goes quiet for a bit but then sounds intrigued* What small box, I don't see anything unusual in here. Are you sure you aren't hiding somewhere, I can hear you fine.
Of course it's difficult, I want to go home! *the next part said in an entirely accepting manor, she's used to hearing that sort of thing* Where are you then, I want to see you. Come to my rooms at once.
no subject
Perhaps it is lying on a piece of furniture? I cannot see much from my vantage point, but if you were to find it, we would be able to see each other.
[Sebastian heaves a sigh at that last command. It's been awhile since he heard a proper order, and it's one he can't easily carry out.]
Unfortunately, your Highness, these witches have seen fit to bind me to some of the other guests for the duration of the week. I cannot move about as freely as I wish, or I would already be at your side.
no subject
*some searching noises are head, it sounds like she's looking for it* What does it look like? I can't believe I'm looking for my own things, this is ridiculous. I'd better not be suspected of anything for using this thing.
Bind you to others? *sounds surprised* That's awful, how on Earth did they do that.

It is a small box, rectangular and black. There are letters of the alphabet on it, and a window, through which you should be able to see me. Please keep in mind that I am not actually inside.
With chains, your Majesty. Fortunately, it has been merely an inconvenience, rather than anything painful.
Kitty can barely read/write, this will be good
I was cracking up at his description of the Blackberry, it sounds so CRAZY
No crazier than "You've been kidnapped by witches"
That was actually a rather accurate explanation, all things considered. ^_^
True enough

My name is Iroh. It is a pleasure.

It appears that some person known as The Author has stolen many people from their homes to participate in a story she is writing.
I am talking to you through a...machine. It's quite ingenious, really. It allows all of us to and see each other!
[He doesn't know what the Tower is, but it sounds ominous.]
no subject
What do you mean stolen from their homes! I have all kinds of guards and my husband was right there with me last night. I can't have been stolen from his arms!
What kind of machine, is this some sort of strange witchcraft you're using? You'd better stay away if it is, you'll be burnt at the stake for that, my husband will do it himself if you do something to me.
no subject
[He chuckles about her second question.] No, it is not witchcraft, as far as I know. It appears to be some sort of technology that I am not used to. Though some people here know all about it.
[She could try to burn Iroh at the stake. We'll see how well that would work.]
no subject
*sounding confused* Technology? What is that?
no subject
I am a general. Retired general. The Dragon of the West, some called me. [That was a long time ago, though.] I will help as much as I can, but we may be trapped here for a while.
Technology. It's a machine, a device. A...[He fumbles with the blackberry, trying to find a better way to explain it.] It's something beyond my explanation, but I do not think it is magic.
no subject
A general? Where from? *she'd nod if you could see her, she just sounds very happy right now* I'm glad to hear you say so, it's good to have someone I can count upon.
I'm not sure what you're talking about, but I want you to come here and show me. I need to know what's going on here.

Unless you can speak to me more respectfully I'm not going to heed a word you say. You're dreadfully rude and I don't think I want to trust you.
