Accidental voice

*various murmers and yawns are heard, the typical noises of someone waking up. While stretching an elbow pressed the voice transmitter button but she doesn't notice the blackberry*

Mmmmmm, Joan why didn't you wake me earlier? *silence for a moment* Joan I'm talking to you, aren't you listening *another pause then a huff is heard and then in a sharper tone* Joan, are you ever there? You'd better not be slacking about already you lazy thing.

*the sound of bed curtains being opened and someone stepping onto the floor can be heard* Where are you Joan, this is hardly proper for one of the Queens ladies to be slacking off. Lady Rochford's going to be very displeased *another pause, and then the voice sounds confused*

Where is everyone? *the sound of walking about the room, and the sounds of someone searching are heard, interspersed with the opening and closing of doors as she moves about her rooms* Joan....Mary......Jane......Elizabeth.................Lady Rochford? Where are all of you? I order you to come her right this minute. I'm your Queen, you'd best do as I say!

His Majesty is going to be very upset when he realizes you've left his wife all alone with no one to attend to her. I've not heard the tower is very comfortable, so I suggest you all quit whatever game this is and come out right now.

*frowning, she's not very pleased with this turn of events and it's quite obvious in her tone of voice*

I wouldn't want her to damage all my pretty things, that would be awful *she pauses, the sounds of moving and shuffling about can be heard* I suppose I'll have to do the best I can on my own then, until someone can be found to help me properly won't I?

[He smiles at her solution, and bows his head again.]

Just wait a moment, I'm not sure how long this will take me exactly *there's a muffled noise, she's turned the device screen-side down and put in on the bed, as she doesn't entirely trust that he can't see her. Quite a decent amount of time later the device is flipped back over and she can be heard clearly again*

[He waits patiently for her -- what else is there to do? When she flips the video on, finally, his smile brightens. He can indeed see her, and she didn't do a terrible job on herself, either.]

[Yeah, just ignore the guys he's chained to, but here he is, right in front of you! He has the tea all ready on a table beside him, but when she enters he promptly drops to one knee, in a deep bow usually reserved only for his master. He keeps his eyes on the floor.]

The feeling is mutual, my Queen. [He will remain in the genuflecting position until she tells him he can rise. It's been a while since he's been able to play up the submissive act so he's rather enjoying this. It is only proper to act as such in front of the queen, after all.]

*she takes a sip and her eyes widen* Why this is delicious. What sort of tea is it, I've never had anything like it before!

You are most kind, your highness. It is ginseng. Another guest in this manor quite enjoys it, and so I've been preparing it rather frequently.

*sips it some more, because damn it's tasty* I've never heard of that, it's very good though.

Ginseng is quite popular in the Orient and has been for many centuries. I do prepare a variety of other teas; there are many available to me in this manor. I serve tea daily at 3:30 here in the parlour, and usually pastries as well. Due to the limited movement, however, I haven't been able to cook as much as I normally do...

Is it? *sips and sits herself down in one of the plushy chairs* So this is really from as far away as the Orient? How exciting!

I'd love to taste them all, and I adore pastries. My ladies and I are always having different kinds of cakes and pastries, do you really make them yourself?
