*The feed cuts in to show sitting on a bench in the gardens with a small fluffy kitten in her lap. She's petting it and looking very much amused, chattering away while it sits quite placidly in her lap*

"So you're telling me you're a Daemon, and that means you're some sort of part of me or my soul or something?"

"That's precisely it your Majesty"

"And is your name really Lancelot? That's ever so romantic and charming, you really are just too adorable you know that? Oh I shall have to get you a pretty collar to wear, or perhaps a ribbon to tie around your neck. You'd like that wouldn't you Lancelot"?

"That's right, that is my name....and if that's what you want then I..."

*He's picked up and snuggled so his speech is cut off, he doesn't look overly thrilled*

*smiles* Perhaps in the ocean around England there are.

Edward has never seen a whale. Edward wants to though. Have Kitty and kitty ever seen a whale?

Or been to the ocean?

I haven't seen one no, and since Lancelot just appeared here he can't have seen one either.

*Lancelot just nods, he's really quite content to chill and be mellow*

I'd like to see what the ocean is like though.

Edward's never been to the ocean either. [She furrows her brow] Maybe she was there once.

[she shrugs]

I didn't think one could forget the ocean!

[Ed shrugs, which, in her case, somehow incorporates her whole body. She's very dramatic about the action, like someone in an old silent movie]

Edward doesn't remember eeeeverything! Edward doesn't remember what happened when Edward was between the ages of three and five. Not much, not much.

((OOC: Ed doesn't remember exactly how old she is, so she's guessing here.))

*laughs* I don't remember very much of my earlier years either. I think my earliest memory is when I was about 4 or 5 myself.

[Ed blinks and says]

Cognitive memory begins at three.

[She then nods sagely to herself]

That's how Edward knows she was more than three when she met Sister Clara!

Sister Clara? Who is that?

Sister Clara is Sister Clara! [As if this clears everything up]

Um...Ed she doesn't know anything about her

[Ed laughs]

Oh yeah! Sister Clara lived with a whooooooole bunch of kids like Edward in a junk yard on Earth! Edward lived there when Edward was reaaally little and sometimes when Edward was bigger!

Oh, so she was your guardian then? *smiles* I was raised in the household of my grandmother, the Dowager Duchess, with all kinds of other girls too. I know what that can be like.

*by now it's entirely possible Lancelot has fallen asleep in her lap*

Uuuuuum, Ed guesses so. [She looks to Jachin who nods in agreement]

[She looks confused] Dow-a-ger?

It's..hmmm....it's a title of hers.

She used to be a duchess you see, but then grandfather died so she couldn't be anymore, since Uncle Howard was going to be Duke and his wife would be the new duchess.

It really just means she USED to be one, but now she's old and dreadful and isn't one any longer.

((OOC: I actually always wondered what that meant >_>))

[But she crosses her arms and furrows her brow]

Not nice she doesn't get to be duchess anymore!

*rolls her eyes and speaks very matter of factly* Well she's not a nice lady, so I don't care

[Ed's eyes go wide]

Sister Clara was nice! But she would

[Edward stops speaking made makes herself look very tired and very frazzled by widening her eyes but dulling them and wringing her hands. Then she rubbed her forehead as if she was trying to wipe away sweat and sighed heavily. Then the charade over Edward straightens and brightens back to her usual self. Clearly, she was imitating Sister Clara]

*she giggles a little*

I bet that's because she had a lot of you to look after! That would make anyone tired!

Sister Clara said that! Sister Clara said that! Sister Clara said, "God Bless you Edward but you would exhaust even Christ himself!" [She puts on a puffy, tired voice.]

[She's standing on her head at this point. No reason why, she just is.]
