10 Star Ball || Piccolo
[Piccolo was sitting on the front steps looking very, very bored. He had been waiting for two weeks to get outside, but now that he was he found himself with nothing to do. His little roommate had returned to her rightful room and now Piccolo didn't have anyone to show off the fruits of his training to, making training feel a little pointless. And he didn't do quite a lot in his free time other than training.
Piccolo's room was no longer a source of entertainment without Elphie. Of course Piccolo wasn't too keen on going back to his room anyway. It seemed that someone had tied the now lifeless rice cooker to his doorknob by the cored.]

He then goes to get his soccer ball again and moves down the front steps so he's on the grass before starting bounce it on his knee.]
Hello!
[He finally acknowledges the other person outside. He wasn't trying to be rude, he was just trying to get situated so he could bounce his soccer ball.]

Hey kid... what happened to your arm?

[In person]
Well I hope you got him back.

You look bored.

Bored as death...
[he smirks]
I get the feeling we've done this before... only in rougher shape.
no subject
Yes..I do vaguely remember you..in the Ukraine wasn't it?
no subject
[He chuckles.]
Well I guess it's good to see you didn't kick it after all.
[He materializes a glass of water and offers it to him]
Thirsty?
no subject
Well that's certainly plausible..and yes, I'm more than happy I didn't 'kick it'
[His eyes widen a little when he materialises the glass of water, but he takes it regardless]
Thank you..so, what have you been doing with yourself since we got back here..? I hope these past weeks haven't been too hard on you
no subject
[He materializes another glass for himself. Inwardly smirking at the human's expression when he did so. Clearly he doesn't remember Piccolo doing the same thing on their first encounter. Not that Piccolo expected him to. He was miles away in the head when Piccolo found him]

Not a lot..met a rather interesting ghost..died quite horribly..that was an experience..
[He pulls a face at the memory, but shakes it off]
All in all, nothing really very good for conversation

[Piccolo is only mildly surprised to hear that the human claims to have died and come back. He's heard of weirder things
like him being social.](no subject)

He noticed Piccolo and walked over. "You don't look like you're having fun either."
no subject
[Okay so that was a bit of a lie, but he wasn't about to tell the kid he was sulking because his little human girl friend went back to her own room...]

[Piccolo throws his head back and laughs]
I'M scarier then anything the Author cooked up here!
[Piccolo looks up with interest when the boy mentions the monsters]
Dragon? Malboro? Are they strong?
no subject
"You got that right." he replied. "Give me the right costume and the right role and I could upstage all these guys."
He nodded seriously in reply to Piccolo's question. "Very. The dragons can kill you in one hit if you don't know how to defend yourself properly and the Malboros - man what a nasty piece of work! They can inflict you with every sickness and weakness under the moons and leave you vulnerable, blind, paralysed...pretty much helpless as they finish you. Had some run ins with them. Trust me, I only made it because I know what to do. A lot of people aren't prepared well or equipped right when they meet one."
no subject
You? Scary? Bah! Not with that baby face, I'm sorry kid.
[Piccolo thought about the strength of these beasts Zidane was talking about. The Dragon didn't sound too bad. As long as that 'one hit' wasn't through his head he would be able to regenerate. The Malboros sounded particularly nasty though. Piccolo knew he wasn't one for tricky fighting like that.]
Sounds like a fun challenge. So what do you have to do to kill the things?
no subject
He grinned. "I never said I'd be going around as myself. The right make up, the right mask....you make anyone look gruesome. And as for the Malboro's you just got to be sure not to wonder around without the right items. And you'd be out of your right mind to go out into the mist without medicine anyway. But there's also this ribbon you can tie onto you - if you can afford it - and it blocks that nasty gas they shoot."
no subject
Kid, you've got a 'cute' little face. Tch, masks and make up? I can make kids cry just by looking at them the way I am now. Call it talent, or maybe my natural beauty is just too intimidating for some people.
[Piccolo has to wipe a tear from his eye after that last line. Oh this conversation had just gotten too funny. He calms down and continues asking about these strange monsters from this kids world.]
How does a ribbon help protect against gas?
