[Piccolo was sitting on the front steps looking very, very bored. He had been waiting for two weeks to get outside, but now that he was he found himself with nothing to do. His little roommate had returned to her rightful room and now Piccolo didn't have anyone to show off the fruits of his training to, making training feel a little pointless. And he didn't do quite a lot in his free time other than training.

Piccolo's room was no longer a source of entertainment without Elphie. Of course Piccolo wasn't too keen on going back to his room anyway. It seemed that someone had tied the now lifeless rice cooker to his doorknob by the cored.]

[Conan gives him a calculating look for a moment before turning to his thoughts entirely. So long whatever allowed Piccolo to regenerate like that stayed in his own world then Shinichi wouldn't be too concerned about it, just a little curious.

...But another thought made the detective's blood run cold. The program that Itakura had been working on... what if it had been a way to move between worlds? It was obviously possible if the author had figured out how to bring people to and from different worlds...]

Hey kid, you alright? You don't look so good. Come on you shouldn't be straining yourself with an injury like that. Sit down.

[Piccolo materializes a glass of water for the boy and offers it to him. Piccolo wasn't often this generous towards humans, but this one had earned his respect. Not only did he have the gall to insult him to his face and quite possibly give him the greatest verbal beat down of his life, but he had also attempted to help him after. That at least earned him a seat and some water.]

Huh? Oh, thanks. [he takes the glass of water and sits down on the steps carefully.]

The author has been getting pretty bad the past few weeks hm?

It's not that, it just that I've been wondering how she managed to get so many people from different worlds to one place. If it's possible in one world it's got to be possible in another one.

[Piccolo crossed his arms and leaned back sitting up straighter. That was a tough thing to thing to think about.]

hmmm... I don't know about people being brought from different worlds but I do know of some interdimensional travel in my world.

No one in my world has figured that out. [The Author doesn't seem anything more then a normal teenage girl from the ages of 13-25. It was a large gap but he had no way to narrow it down farther.... may he'd been thinking about it all wrong. Maybe she was around thirteen and didn't realize the power she held over everyone inside her story-]
