[The kitchen has a new resident. Sheldon's head and chest lay on the open door of the dish washer as if he was taking a nap in a drunken haze. The smell of tequila is present but that's not the presenting part. Something was obviously wrong and one of them being his arm in the sink and a pool of blood in the dishwasher and on the floor in two pool on either side, one to the left is larger than the right.

What Sheldon was doing at 3 in the morning in the kitchen was anyone's guess other than the pork roast that was pulled out and laying next to a large 5 gallon pot with spices, orange juice, 5 lemons, a lime, and a bottle of tequilla with a shot glass on the counter.

Another notable mark to the scene is that his guns were still holstered. The blood spray from the loss of his arm goes from his body to the other side of the kitchen in a semi-circular pattern where it looked as if he had turned before landing on the dishwasher door. Needless to say, it was a gruesome scene worthy of Mortal Kombat's fatality scenes.

There is another blood splatter in random patterns on the cabinets, ceiling and floor but no footprints are present. On Sheldon's back, it looks as if a large blade has been wiped off on his green and line colored cowboy shirt.]

[OOC: Since this happened at such an early hour and the riots were going on outside, Sheldon looked like he was preparing something for the rioters outside. Feel free for those that would know of this to come in and check on him.]

[Apollo's wearing his usual shirt and fussing with his tie.]

If it's possible, I'd like to try talking to everyone about the murders this week.

[This is the dumbest plan ever, but hell, it might just work.]

To those who are interested in at least hindering the murderer, I recommend boarding up the ventilation systems in all areas of the manor. This cannot be accomplished by only a few people alone in any short period of time, so any help is appreciated. If you have the time, please board up the ones in your private rooms as extra precaution.

For those who don't care, I apologize for taking up your valuable time and kindly ask that you ignore this message. [Oh sure she says stuff like "apologize" and "kindly," but careful listeners will clearly notice the negative undertones.]

There is no need to reply unless you have questions or additional suggestions, in which case I'll try my best to oblige.

Thank you.

[Mello is busy at the blank door next to his own, placing small charges against the edges of the door. He is working quickly and as quietly as possible. If his suspicions prove correct too much noise will ruin everything. He hopes quietly that the series of blocks that L built over the vents in his room are still in place, although he doubts it. How else could B be getting in and out so smoothly?

The only way in, for him at least, is through the door which he can blow off its hinges. Hopefully he can be fast enough to catch B right then and there. The explosion will take a few seconds and if Mello can rush in and his calculations prove correct he'll catch B as the failed Successor is removing the grate from the vent.

He presses a detonator in his hand, without giving any warning, verbally or otherwise. The blast shakes the hall, but the explosion is fairly small and compact. The rioters are making more noise. The door flies away, meaning the room behind it is still there. Mello rushes into the room, gun at the ready.

And as the smoke clears Mello's heart drops. B has beaten him again. The vent hangs open, yawning down at him. There is a note left open on the desk:

"To the killer: you cannot find me. You cannot kill me. I am L."

The L is written in perfect Cloister Black.]

[Kuja appears on the feed, tossing his hair over his shoulder and making a melodramatic sigh. Everything going on this week was ridiculous. Normally he enjoyed a bit of chaos for the sake of entertainment, but.. this was nothing short of a droll performance with over-rated actors and actresses who hadn't a clue what they were doing.]

Has it occurred to none of you fools that, perchance if you'd asked for my assistance, I could have saved all those who have died so far? You would have had your answers. You ask for anyone with information to come forward - How about you simpletons all swallow that damn pride and talk to one another? You're beginning to make me doubt your supposed intelligence. Or shall I continue insulting what little you all seem to possess between you?

Too many cooks spoil the broth and that's apparent here. Your petty pride complexes are making this entire 'case' counter productive and making things easier for the killer to strike again. Why else did Sheldon and Oz unnecessarily die? Because you weren't quick enough to work together after the first death.  Your incompetence is nothing short of unspeakable.

[The feed cuts out.]

Maybe your inability to leave us to our job is a result of boredom- so here's a riddle for you to solve.

When you think you have the answer lock it in a reply to this.

If you wear glasses in a light rain and run from the door to your vehicle the inside of your glasses will get wet while the outside is relatively dry-- explain why this happens.

[Light is sitting cross-legged on his bed, his expression alternates between fury and hopelessness at a book that he has unknowingly opened upside down in his lap. The endless stream of bickering coming through the Blackberry is irritating the hell out of him. Clearly the investigation lacked leadership, because from the sound of it, all of the self congratulatory morons were running around like headless chickens. But even so, this is a transient distraction that he clings on to, because otherwise he would be forced to think about how stupidly helpless he felt at the moment. The truth is, Light cannot bring himself to contribute to this investigation; being unable to read has left him feeling as though he is without a right arm.
When yet another message comes through the network, he grabs his own Blackberry and hisses angrily.]

Either try for some goddamn unity or be quiet.

[There is an audible sigh, before the feed switches off.]

[[ooc: Basically Light is illiterate until Sunday. Stick poke if you want to. Figured it'd be a relief from all the srs bsns. Good luck trying to get him to admit that he can't read if you do.]]

[Tapping can be heard as soon a voice starts to speak, they seem to sound annoyed if not really pissed off.]

Seriously, these so called detectives are all talk. If Lord Kaname were here things would of gotten done already.

[The chair makes a scrapping sound as he goes across the floor. The russling close by to the blackberry as soon he's speaking again.]

Oh well I don't care what happens, I just hate the fact I wake up to the wonderful smell.

[A pause for a moment as soon sudden movement.]

This thing was on?

[The voice feed soon ends.]

[Saguru is wandering the Manor a little, both hands in his pockets; he's starting to realize how badly this is getting to him - serial killer cases are always stressful, but adding in two friends now...]

[He's not quite as distractedly dazed as he's acting, upset as he is - but showing it more than normal is somewhat intentional, just in case.]

[He does know who he's looking for - there's not too many people left outside the group of detectives that he'd be willing to talk to like this, two are dead, one is watching Aoko...]

[Which has him looking for Dillinger.]

[OOC note - Other people are more than welcome to notice him and poke at him; he's looking for John, but not hiding or anything.]

[Having heard the warnings on the network, Fran has actively chosen to ignore them - or, heed them but do her own thing anyway. She could defend herself if needs be, and she had yet to see the rest of the grounds. The riot from the previous day had kept her in her room, as the noise effected her more so than normal humans, but now that things had quietened down, she was exploring.

Walking seemingly effortlessly through the destruction, she makes her way outside, glad to be in the fresh air; even the cold tempretures don't seem to effect her (despite her grand lack of clothing)]

(Feel free to bump into her~)

Hey. Hey Tom. Now that I've gotten all of that out of my system, I just realized, I'm an idiot!

I turn into a wolf.

Can you or any of the detectives get anything with the killer's scent on it?

[Apollo is looking intensely uncomfortable; he has his blackberry propped up on his desk to get a good look at him.] I figured I was putting myself into the line of fire like this. I know the symptoms of a heart attack. [He sounds sort of shaky and strained, and he is very definitely going for his chest with one hand.]

I-- [That is such a nervous, awkward laugh.] I sort of-- expected to end up dying, but not because of someone who's here. My notes are hidden- look in the books behind the bear.

[He's sort of cringing horrifically and reaching over to shut the blackberry off. If and when anyone comes in Apollo's room, the desk will have everything he's eaten or drunk out of for the past day, and there is a teddy bear that is wearing his bracelet, looking like it's been tipped over, with a pile of random and heavy books behind it. Apollo will be curled up on his bed, clutching his shirt.]

[B has claimed another victim.]

Another murder - Apollo, in his room!
