He's perplexed. the killer seemed to leave no trail; nothing he could track either iwth the traditional hunter methods, or with a scent.]

Also, has there been any connections between any of the victims so far? Other than them being here? I mean, they're not the same sex or ages... hair colour... nothing that I can figure out by looking. Just.... if there's any infromation at all that you know about them that could help, no matter how strange, it'd be helpful.

[For once, he's not doing one of his public broadcasts from the study - instead, he's in his room, sitting on his bed, and looking very ... put out. There's a healing cut along his cheek, but he's otherwise fine.]

I'd say I have the identity of our killer, but it's a bit useless.

It seems the Author has decided that she wants to write a bad slasher movie. The killer will get back up if killed and seems to be able to disappear from one place to appear in another; while it - he - can be bested, nothing actually seems to keep it down, and it's doubtful any restraints would work.

It's probably best to assume that his pattern will continue to mostly follow stereotypical horror movie rules. Someone with a decent amount of supernatural or other powers may be able to adequately defend themselves, but it's probably better to err on the side of caution if there's any uncertainty. For those who want to try to stay in one piece who aren't familiar with the stereotypical tropes of this sort of a movie or the genre in general...

Try not to be go anywhere alone. There's already an obvious preference for ambushes, particularly when people are alone. Try to stay in well-lit areas or areas with clear visibility; the fog outside will be used to ambush from. If you have the creature down, do not check to make sure it is dead unless it's with the sharp end of a weapon from a safe distance, and do not turn your back on the body. If there's any signs of footsteps, doors opening when they shouldn't, and the like, move to a secure place as soon as possible and find someone else.
