︸ First Flight ︸ Dragon versus Coffee. (Coffee 1-Dragon 0)

[The video feed shows a wavering from side to side and a curious purring trill with the sound of steps crushing the grass. The people don't seem to pay much attention to the lumbering creature that's making it's way to the barista on the park. A sniff in the air, a purring response and a slight growl, the smell of roasted coffee beans has her attention and she's making a determined strut forward. A powerful, broad head pushes the barista aside and starts eating the coffee beans.

It didn't take long for the video to show a quick jolt up, the sound of smacking lips and a quick burst forward in a full tilt run, jumping over people as the wind is heard over the speakers. Now her destination is in a circle.....chasing her tail.]

[meanwhile, Saguru was out for a walk, getting a break from being cooped up in the museum trying to figure out what Kid had planned this time.]

[He'd been fully intent on stopping at that particular cafe, at least until he noticed the disturbance.]

[It didn't take long for her to get the wiff of a person that wasn't like the ones she's been around. Those drones aren't doing anything but walking around zombie-like and since she didn't feel threatened, this new person is about to be ran down by a very hyper, very happy, very crazy dragon.

Her tongue is hanging out of the side of her mouth as she runs toward him at full force.]

Ah - nice dragon - down - ahsd;fj;ds! [A couple big steps back and a bit of flail is not enough to get out of the way of a hyper Night Fury, I'm sure.]

[Not when she's happy to play! She jumps in the air and attempts to greet in her great dragony way....with drool and a happy lick!]

a;sdhfgbhl, oh god, hi there. [He's flailing and making some kind of...well, it starts as a feeble attempt to try not to get too drool-slimed, but it's mostly abandoned with a cautious headpat of the dragon.] What did you get in-.....

[She looks behind him at the coffee stand and back at her playmate with a big enthused nod to her head as if to say, Uh Uh Uh!]

Ooohgod. [This is not a good thing.] I do not have the slightest clue how one is supposed to play with a dragon. [He's used to hawks, which are not exactly "pets" per se, and the dragon seems a whole lot smarter than a dog or cat.]

[She gets steps back from Hakuba and sits down on her back haunches. She looks around for something to play with and something catches her eyes and takes off to fetch it. What she comes back with is a hoola hoop and drops it down, looking from the hoop back up to Hakuba with a purr.]

[He has now been presented with some kind of bizarre "what do you do with this?" puzzle of a sort that is well outside his experience.]

[After a moment spent blinking between the dragon and the hula hoop, he picks it up, twirling it around one hand so that it's making a rather big loop, and watches to see the dragon's reaction.]

[Large wide eyes looked at the hoop and how it's spinning on the arm, she nods and purrs. She holds out her heavy arms so he could slip it on. She's slowly understanding some of what these weird things can do and playing was just a good way to learn.]

[Still keeping it moving, he cautiously passed it off to her; definitely perfectly intelligent, even if she couldn't talk.] See? Usually you just try to keep it moving, and you can do tricks with them... [Asking him to demonstrate would probably end in comedy - he was perfectly agile, but this WASN'T something he'd really done.]

[She keeps it moving and watched the apex of the hoop as it spins which later causes her eyes to cross then shakes her head. The hoop flops her in the face once and looks at if as if she's done it wrong and folds her ears down but tries to get it to work again.]

[Kaito comes upon the scene of Hakuba playing with that dragon from earlier and is kind of amused, but he's just going to come over, while making sure not to startle them.]

Heh. Yeah, that's a good girl! Just keep trying.

Ed is running all out towards the dragon, across streets, scaring away pigeons, through flowerbeds and crowds of people. She will tackle you new dragon friend. SHE WILL]

[Wide eyes looked up from her chase, body stops the circular pattern that she's now gouged into the ground from those strong clawed feet and starts bounding toward this new person that's giggling and tossing pigeons up in the air from her run.

Yep! PLAYTIME!!

ANND a thud as Ed gets pounced and greeted with hyper licks and dragon drool.]

[Ed likes wrestling with animals, Ed likes playing with animals in general, but at the moment she's wrestling, or play wrestling, with Toothless, giggling all the while. She's so happy to have made a new friend!]

[The play made her even more hyper than she already is and made a bee-line for the nearest open space. Even in the rain, she was having fun and that made her stay adjustment period a little easier.]

[Coming down from the caffeinated high, she collapses first and covers her eyes. Ouch! Now a dragon with a headache.]

[There was a grumble and her eyes were now being shielded by her wings with a claw pointing to the demolished coffee cart.]

[There was a grumble from the dragon that depicts that she's in agreement with this and looks up with her eyes heavy.]

[There wasn't much that a dragon could say but her mannerisms depicted that she didn't want to be left alone and moved to where her body was next to Ed.]
