︸ First Flight ︸ Dragon versus Coffee. (Coffee 1-Dragon 0)

[The video feed shows a wavering from side to side and a curious purring trill with the sound of steps crushing the grass. The people don't seem to pay much attention to the lumbering creature that's making it's way to the barista on the park. A sniff in the air, a purring response and a slight growl, the smell of roasted coffee beans has her attention and she's making a determined strut forward. A powerful, broad head pushes the barista aside and starts eating the coffee beans.

It didn't take long for the video to show a quick jolt up, the sound of smacking lips and a quick burst forward in a full tilt run, jumping over people as the wind is heard over the speakers. Now her destination is in a circle.....chasing her tail.]

[Meanwhile, Hakuba went to Toothless, cautiously reacting up to offer a headscratch around the ears.] It's alright. It takes a while to get the hang of those, and I know I've made an idiot of myself plenty of times. ...Are you alright?

[She watches Kaito in the distance, tracking his movements with her head and ears to make sure that he was okay. She gives a quick series of purrs and chirps that sound like gurgles with watchful eyes.

At the question, she nods her head, her eyes returning from slits to large pupils in response then back to concentrating on Kaito's movements. Any sound that depicted trouble would cause her to move to his aid.]

[Kaito manages to find the hoola-hoop without too much trouble and heads back to where Toothless and Hakuba are.]

Here we go! See? No harm done!

[Aoko is just out and about wandering around Paris. She did not get lost. Shut up. The sight of Kaito carrying a hula hoop catches her attention though-she's curious as to why he has a hula hoop and it also means he can lead her back to the hotel... not that she needs it, of course.

So, curiously, she tails after her childhood friend]

Kaito?

[It's then that she suddenly realizes there is a large dragon there... a little nervous, Aoko slides behind Kaito]

[New person behind Kaito! She looks from Kaito to Aoko and back to Kaito again. She happily perks up and takes the hoola hoop, glad that her toy was found and purrs, rubbing her face against the thin, round plaything and happily.]

[Meanwhile, Hakuba spent the time waiting standing by Toothless, watching, with the occasional distracted earscritch. He perks up when Kaito reappears with the hula hoop, and Aoko in tow, no less.]

It's okay, Nakamori-san - the dragon's friendly. [There's a pause on that, and then he's addressing Toothless.] We need something to call you, don't we?

Yeah, don't worry about it. She's nice!

[He looks over at Hakuba and nods.] Yeah. Can't just call her Dragon-san, now can we?

Really? [She peeks at the dragon curiously and steps out from behind Kaito to get a good look at the Dragon-she really didn't seem so bad... in fact... she was kind of... cute... kind of a lot cute.

Aoko stepped away from the magician to chance getting a little closer before something stopped her dead in her tracks. Neither Kaito, nor Hakuba seemed to be at all annoyed about being around the other. She looked back at them both]

Aaah! [Were they really getting along? OMG. Best. Day. Ever.] See! You two can get a long!

[Those ears perk up and a very proud expression came to her face. Yep! She did her job today.

Looking from Kaito to Hakuba then back to Aoko, the name really didn't seem to matter to her much as she nods to each of them and holds up the hoop.]

[You know, he actually hadn't been paying attention to the "getting along" thing, but chose to laugh nervously and act like it was normal.]

I think I revoked my right to name things when I was twelve and got Watson - do either of you have any ideas? [Well, he probably could think of something if given a minute, although he certainly doesn't want her stuck with something embarrassing.]

[It was a good thing Kaito was pretty good at hiding his feelings when he wanted to. He didn't so much as twitch at Aoko's proclamation, but didn't comment on it either. He was only doing this for the dragon's sake after all.

In the meantime, it looked like it was up to him to come up with a name to call their new friend.]

Huh. Let's see... How about Sable?

[....Aoko's eyes narrowed at Kaito for ignoring her. Was it really that hard to admit he could consider Hakuba-kun a friend... but she couldn't stay mad if they were getting along.]

Uh-huh! Aoko likes that name. [She beamed down at the dragon that had just accomplished the impossible and became giddy all over again-turning to both Kaito and Hakuba she hugged them at at the same time and kissed both their cheeks. Yes. She really was that happy they could get along-but she quickly realized what she had done and let go, hiding her burning face as she turned back to the Dragon]

A-an-ano... thank you Sable-san. You really helped me out. I was about to lock them in a closet together if they didn't learn to get along soon. [she smiled-cheeks still a very bright red]

[Sable grinned happily not only at the name but at the feat that she accomplished. She took the hola hoop and tried to spin it again and with a grin, she felt very pleased with herself and continued with the play.

Large eyes looked to the friends and then back to the hoop. She puts the hoop down and runs in a circle around the three friends. Chirping and purring in response to the happy feeling welling up.]

[There was a little much fluster-flail to think too hard about the closet comment, although on some level he was pretty sure that wouldn't go well.]

Ahm - ah - [Death by fluff, and no, he has no idea what to do with something like this.]

[Although at least there is a still obviously very hyperactive dragon...]

You know, she got into the coffee earlier...

[Kaito blush flails a bit too, taken completely off guard by Aoko's actions there. He recovers enough to sorta comment on the closet thing though.] Oi...

[He watches her run around them in circles.] Figured she seemed more hyper than the last time I saw her.

Eh? [Aoko looks back at Hakuba at that. Oh dear.] M-maa... it's only a little caffeine.

[she turned back to the dragon as looking at either one of the boys was causing her cheeks to burn a brighter red.]

[At the very mention of coffee, she stuck out her tongue. The taste of those beans in excess amount was still fresh in her mind. She didn't like the taste very much.]

I think it was more than a little. [She was making a blur of herself on the ground when he first saw her.]

There's a big toy store just around the block with big sliding automatic doors - plenty there to play with, and it's not like there's a problem here if we cause a little bit of chaos. [And Sable seriously needed to burn some of that energy off.]

[Kaito help but snort.] I'll say.

[He nods at Hakuba's suggestion. Yeah, she definitely needed to burn off that energy.] That sounds like a good idea. Come on Sable-san! Let's go take a look.

[Aoko stands up and looks at her feet to avoid looking at the two boys and mumbles quietly.]

N-ne... can I come, too?

[Sable notices the shyness and nudges Aoko gently with her nose.]

[Hakuba stops, looking back, and holds out a hand to Aoko, either to pull her along or just gesture for her to follow, whichever.] Of course! There's no reason you shouldn't.

[And Kaito moves over to stand next his childhood friend.] Yeah. Don't be stupid. Why couldn't you come along?

W-well... [Well she had just kissed them both-didn't they find that at all awkward? She shook her head fiercely and then smiled, taking Hakuba's hand]

It's nothing.

[Sable looks from all the members of her little horde and a nod came from her as she listened.]
