13 Star Ball || Piccolo

[Well for once Piccolo had been excited to go back to the manor. He was not one of the 'weapons' and refused to wield any 'weapons' since in his mind hiding behind a weapon was cowardly. Even if it was the only thing capable of killing the dead-but-not-quite-dead things that were attacking. Luckily throughout his week in France he had been strong enough to push many of the Kishin back, or at least by enough time for Elphie and him to escape somewhere else.

Unfortunately for him, even though he was back in the manor, he was no better off then he was in France. Not only were the Kishin still there, but he was in a flimsy little tent, like that was going to keep anyone safe from anything. Even worse Elphaba wasn't with him. When he realized this he was quick to let out a loud and long string of swears before he burst out of his tent. Spotting more tents around his he decides with his brilliant little mind that the best and most intelligent course of action would be to check each one of the tents individually.

Naturally with Piccolo's social graces you can expect him to burst into a tent, cuss, and then promptly leave without further explanation as to why he was in your tent. Enjoy]

That's sort of why it matters; if we're out here, in tents, then that means we can't go inside for whatever reason. Which then means that these tents have to last us the rest of the week..so..you can't go round ripping them open. Okay?

Tch, these things are just flimsy material. If the people here had any common sense they would have found a much better place to gather. This area is far too open. We should AT LEAST have something solid to have our backs against and some high ground. We're sitting ducks here.

[He crosses his arms as he looks over the camp scrutinizing it]

[Elphaba looks around her at the garden, trying to find a place big enough to fit everyone, which was on higher ground..]

So..where would you recommend..?

[Piccolo looks around]

Hmmmm... this place doesn't exactly have a good share of hills in it. A set of caves would be ideal... but the lake could at least ward off an attack from behind.

I see your point..but we'd still need shelter of some kind

[She's gonna listen to him for once, since she wouldn't have the first clue how to live in the great outdoors for any amount of time]

Something wooden would be ideal. These flimsy little blankets aren't protecting anyone.

[As Piccolo's search had demonstrated]

So..we should start over there?

[She looks over at the forest.

Yes, Captain Obvious did have her coffee this morning]

Well at least to build something up. It might not do much but it would hopefully hold off anything attacking long enough to get the upper hand. A cave would be ideal. I could make a cave if there was just some sort of rocky gathering.

You've been here longer than I was, is there a place like that? We need to find a place for you and the little runts to keep safe.

[She shakes her head]

No, not as far as I know. I guess the Author never really saw the point to giving us a set of caves..

[Piccolo sighs a bit irritated]

Well that's bothersome. Well it just looks like I'm going to have to destroy all of those things before they can get outside.

[She laughs a little]

For once, I'm not going to try and stop you. If it means everyone getting their rooms back and me getting the Grimmerie, by all means~

If I find that big book of yours, I'll be sure to grab it for you. I doubt those things have gone through the personal room much. they're organized, but they're cocky. They don't think they need to rummage through personal belongings to try and find what they're up against. Just like the Daimao.

Thank you; I know you don't like old stuff, but that book's a bit of an exception.

[Some of what he said suddenly struck her]

I know that book means a lot to you, I'm not going to lie and say I understand it. But it's important to you and that's enough for me.

[he ruffles her hair]

If they weren't they would have already attacked us by now. They're waiting for us to come to them.

But, then..why're we bothering..? If this is what the Author wants, and it's what they want, why don't we do the one thing neither of them are expecting..?

[Piccolo throws his head back and laughs]

Well I'm going because I'm bored, I want to see things die, and I want an excuse to destroy as much of that hellhole as I possibly can without having an army of little brats all over me preaching 'justice'.

[What else was she expecting him to say? Honestly, Elphaba's subconcious..you shouldn't be surprised anymore]

..okay good point. Just, don't get used to it; who knows when you'll get the chance to do this again.

[Piccolo sighs sadly]

Yeah, yeah, I know... Think anyone would notice if I 'accidentally' had a few misfires during the fight that just happen to zap a few little brats out of existence?

[Smirk]

I thnk they'd notice, but atleast you'd have good cover- OH! But how would you last in the jail here~ Aren't you scared of the big bad blonde human and his little sidekick?

[The sarcasm. It's painful]

[throws his head back and laughs]

Oh it's been a while since humans tried to put me in jail. That sounds like it would be fun.

[he has to think about the whole blonde human though]

Blonde human... blonde human... which one. I could end them all so it probably doesn't make a difference, but I guess trial and error with something like that could get messy.

[Such high standards for morals Piccolo....]

Yeah, I wouldn't try it that way..I could point him out to you though~

[She has to admit, the thought of him in an orange jumpsuit amused her somewhat]

I can't say I can imagine you in an enclosed space for more than 10 minutes..those poor jail guards..

[Piccolo laughs again]

Oh they never got me to the jail. They just said "You're under arrest" and then I killed them. That happened a few times. I think the first time was when I attacked that King dog-man-thing's castle... That was fun. They brought out all of there little human weapons and I got to destroy it all...

[She smiles, albeit a little nervously]

I can imagine you'd enjoy that..

[he lets out a nostalgic sigh]

Those were some fun times. Shame those Kishin don't employ the same foolish tactics as humans do. I would have had them cleared out in a few minutes....

I'm sure you'll clear them out regardless of tactics, and for the first time people will thank you for it~
