{8th Bullet} Blind and near dead [In Person/Video]
Bleeding on the floor and without much to aid him, he has to work. He pulls his blackberry from his pocket and pushes the button that he knows worked the video since it was the easiest setting on the phone.]
A little help, please.
[He cuts off the video without having to go into too much detail before his fingers managed to find the audio setting. The sound of his blackberry hits the floor and the feed goes quiet and eventually times out.]

Sands..Sheldon Sands
[When the video ends, she quickens her pace down the stairs, stopping suddenly when she hears something falling to the floor in one of the nearby rooms. Hurrying in, she see's Sheldon and hurries over. If he had his sight, Sheldon would see that the woman helping him had blonde hair hanging past her shoulders, with the same emerald eyes and a pair of rimless glasses.
She touches his shoulder gently and kneels down in front of him, her voice soft (as always)]
Hello - My name's Robin. I'm here to help you

[His hand reaches up to touch her face. There was something familiar about her but different. Her voice sounded richer and more mature than before and in his distant memories, he could recall someone he once knew by the same name.
A faint smile came to him despite the severe pain but that gentle touch she gave him struck something far deeper.]
I knew a Robin once and fell in love but....I can still see her face dancing around in my memory somewhere.
[He shifts to try to stand, his body racked with so many injuries compiling one on top of the other, he has a hard time standing up on his own and winces with a hiss between his teeth as the pain shot through him.]
There was a song....I can't remember it.
[The pain was too intense for him to recall much else.]

Either way, that would have to wait until he'd been treated. From what she could see he was bleeding badly - not fatally, but he did need urgent treatment. She loops an arm around his waist and pulled his less injured arm around her neck, taking most of his weight]
Don't try to push yourself - what happened to you..?
[That song...what was the name of that song..]

I was in....where are we at the moment?
[He didn't smell the streets nor feel the sun on his face but rather he did smell carpets, paint, slight hints of varnish and wood. It seemed familiar but still a bit distant.]
What in the hell is the name of that song?
no subject
[It was the truth - it was like trying to remember a dream from days ago.]
It is strange, it's like I've been here before. And I remember knowing someone with your name as well..
[When they reach the stairs, she looks at him]
Are you okay to go up some stairs..? It's only one flight, but if not I can sort something out down here

[He spoke through the pain and keeping calm has kept him from too much blood loss. It was a situation he couldn't avoid and getting to his room was a necessary evil.]
I guess it's safe to answer your question. I don't think we're in Mexico. Is there anyone following us?
[Sheldon's hand gripped the hand rail and with his left arm in such a terrible state, he couldn't grab on to anything with it.]
Don't worry about the stairs. Just keep moving.
no subject
Alright.
[She's being mindful to take more of his weight; she's strong, despite her size, and she knows his injuries are worse than what meets the eyes]
No, we're not in Mexico - judging by the landscape outside, we could be in England, America..I'd like to hope Italy, but I doubt that much.

[He takes a deep breath and pulls himself up on another step, and with Robin's help, the progress was a steady one even if it wasn't fast.]
I was stationed in Mexico originally to bring in an international criminal and drug lord. Then an idea came to me that the system in that said area was so bad that it needed to be flushed out. Well, something went wrong. It went so wrong....[a pause as he takes another step] that I lost not only my connection with the department but also my eyes and I was shot and left for dead.
The government that I worked with for so long cut me loose and left me to die. Now is that shitty? Of course it is. We ultimately won but at a very steep cost. I lost my eyes when I was captured and tortured before being released on the streets again. I got them back for what they did to me. I had to.
[He noticed her strength but the memories of the Robin he once knew was going to take much longer to surface.]
Robin....it's a pretty name. I'm Sheldon Sands. I was an operative for the CIA. Doesn't look like I'll be much use now.

It takes her a moment to fully take in what she was just told, before going to reply to his last comment]
Thank you..and some things happen for a reason I suppose. Who know's. Maybe a change of career was what you secretly wanted.
no subject
Perhaps.
[He gives a soft grunt and he takes another step.]
But honestly, what could I possibly do that would be worth anything? I can still think, sure, but what good is that when I can't be a part of the environment....wait...Robin. I love you. You're a genius.
[What she said indirectly set a chain of events in his mind that he was still worth a lot more than the Agency had estimated him to be.]
Where are we going?

action
[of course, when she scampers down the stairs and just about falls over a - a -]
[little Mina screams, thinking she's happened across a zombie or a dead body. but when she becomes coherent enough to realize that, oh, this guy's still breathing, she tip toes over to him.]
...Mister? Did you fall down?
[because that's what the biker who had fallen off his bike had looked like that one time in her neighborhood.]
action
[Sheldon didn't recognize the voice since it was much too young to place. He wasn't about to remove his sunglasses since he knew that he had no eyes. He watched that drill take them out and rather forcefully and painfully.]
Where am I?
[It was this disorientation that kept him from saying too much. The smell of dirt, scorched flesh and blood was definitely there.]
action
I'm lost. Are you lost, too, mister? If I find my mommy, she can make your owwies, all better.
action
[He tries to foll over only to hit his head on the side of a coffee table.]
Ouch.
[His hand moves to touch it and nods.]
We're inside a house, aren't we? Oh my Christ. I must have wandered into someone's home by mistake.
action
[she admits, shrugging and taking it as a good sign he can talk.]
I'm lost. But I don't think I can get out of here...
action
[His voice remained soft and the stoicism had returned. He tries again to sit up and this time, he feels first for the edge of the table to grab it and aid him in picking himself off the floor. His left arm is completely useless and his only functioning limb is his right arm. With both legs shot, walking was going to be very difficult and very slow.]
I don't think I can either without being able to see. Describe the layout for me.
[He pulls himself up slowly to a standing position. The pain was tremendous but showing it to her or anyone else wasn't something that he was accustomed to doing.]
[In person]
[In person]
Is someone there?
[He's not able to move very well and he's looking very bad.]
Re: [In person]
Yes.
[In person]
It's okay. I need you to do something for me. Can you please find me a doctor? I'm kinda having a bad day.
Re: [In person]
I don't know of any doctors here.
[Then, as if making a decision against his better judgment, he abruptly kneels down in front of the man.]
Take off those glasses and put your hands to your eyes. It'll stop the bleeding.
Re: [In person]
Look away. Please.
[Like it would matter considering that he has no eyes left. Dr. Guiverra made it well known that he was a master of torture and certainly manifested in the removing of Sheldon's eyes.]
I'm sorry.
[His left arm in such a condition where he couldn't use his hand properly to apply pressure, he was having trouble keeping his hands over what was left of his eyes.]
Re: [In person]
The bleeding's stopped.
[In person]
Thank you.
[Truth be told, he had a terrible headache from the pain from the loss of his eyes. His body was trying to fight off not only infection but to repair the damage done which was causing him to shake.]
I think...I'm going into systemic shock.
