Voice- Directed at Dende, but certainly not private

[Zarbon is not a happy camper. A failed attempt to get his wish and a fiery assault on his person have his spirits in a less than stellar location.]

Did you think you could withhold anything from me? Did you honestly think you'd get far without disclosing everything about the Dragon Balls? There is a password, isn't there?

ISN'T there?!

[There is a pause before he starts speaking again. His tone is calmer and he even chuckles slightly before continuing.]

You will tell me exactly what I want to know or I will make you regret it. Any more tricks like this and I promise you won't be the only one that suffers.

[Voice] Though I still think they should share some tea at some point

What is your wish, Zarbon?

[Voice] Sweet

Ah. Wishes of the young.

[You can't tell, but he has a knowing smile on.]

[Voice] And who but Iroh can offer solace and wisdom?

I have found growing old to be a comfort. And with that I have found that physical beauty is far less important than internal beauty, or harmony of the soul.

Perhaps you will learn that, someday.

[Voice] I've noticed. He's a tough nut to crack

Ah, but they can sense it. Inner beauty, who you are on the inside...it shows as clearly as the nose on your face. People may first judge you for what you look like, but it is who you are, who you are inside, that they truly admire.

[Voice] We shall see...

If there is no inner beauty, if the true self is not worth admiring...then I pity that person indeed.

Strength and beauty need not be separate from each other. Far from it. You do not need a wish to have beauty and power.

[Though of course there are so many types of power...]

I am sorry to hear that. I would be happy to explain it to you further. If you're so inclined.

[if only he could be sharing a pot of tea with you now, Zarbon. He'd really be groovin' then.]

Strength and beauty. How do you define either? Strength comes from within. It is your own fortitude and willpower. It is your unshakable belief in yourself, in what you can do and who you are. Beauty is serenity, peace, the goodness of yourself. That comes from within as well.

Strength from without, the strength of body and power, comes from the strength within. Your muscles mean nothing if there is no will to fuel them.

They are, in many ways, a yin and yang. Two faces of the same coin, and both need the other.

But understand that if you don't have strength and beauty within, they will not manifest in the physical. They cannot. Or, if they do, they are artificial, and mean nothing.
