Badfic Manor

[Zarbon remembers this place from when he first arrived at the manor. He doesn't seem especially nostalgic about being back again, although it does seem to have rebuilt itself impressively.]

Here again? I was beginning to think the Author had more creativity than this.

[Braid flip.]

I suppose it can't be helped.

[Guess who has an ugly reptilian baby? And guess who isn't happy?]

What is this? Surely I am not expected to care for this thing.

[He scoffs and turns from the child.]

Take it away.

[This is mostly aimed at Dean, but Zarbon's posting it publicly because he's a jerk like that. And Dean started it]

Well, that was enjoyable.

[Chuckle.]

And to think I almost thought you'd be a challenge for a moment. How foolish.

[Braid flip.]

Are you satisfied to admit defeat now, Earthling? I don't see how you could have thought otherwise. You will never be a match for an elegant warrior such as myself.

[Have some more chuckling, then the feed ends.]

[Zarbon doesn't appear to have been damaged much by the crash, though he is looking a bit dirty. His cape is also singed and torn, and his hair a bit disheveled, though still mostly in a braid. He doesn't seem aware that his Blackberry is transmitting.]

Hmph.

[He kneels by a stream and attempts to wash the soot from what's left of his cape, giving up moments later in frustration. He sneers and folds his arms, looking about the immediate area.]

...am I expected to sleep on something like this?

[He scuffs his foot, kicking up a bit of dirt.]

How disgusting.

[He continues to sulk about the situation unaware he's being taped.]

[Zarbon has been patched up by Black Jack and is now sulking about the manor. He's currently by one of the windows in the parlor, staring out of it and mentally cursing his loss against Piccolo.]

[Not only did he lose to the Namekian, but he still hurts like hell from all the injuries, as all the healers he knows have either gone or wouldn't help him, leaving him to recuperate the old fashioned way. What he wouldn't give for a healing pod.]

I must say, this week has been highly amusing.

[Smirk.]

How unfortunate it will probably make way for a new plot shortly. Perhaps the next one will contain permanent improvements. It seems not everyone in need was fortunate enough to make up for the beauty they lack this time around.

On what grounds does the Author choose who she brings here? I'm certain at this point there is more at play than merely a list of names.

[Zarbon is wearing a lovely collar that strips him of his powers. And he is not happy.]

When I find the ones responsible for this outrage-...!

[He slams a fist against the wall and glares. He doesn't even finish the thought, just seethes.]

...another city?

[There is annoyance in his voice, but he changes the tone to something a bit more...cocky.]

Well, then let me say this to the Namekian known as "Dende". I know you have the Dragon Balls. I saw them with my own eyes. I did not recognize them at the time, but now that all my senses have returned, their existence was unmistakable.

You will give them to me or I will do to this city what I did to the last.
