Spell 013 [Video]
[The camera shows a blank surface; it is, for those who have seen it, very obviously the top of the desk in the room that Ritsuka and Soubi share. There is nothing and no one in the shot. But then, a long-fingered, pale hand appears, carrying with it a large, neatly gift-wrapped package. It's of a slightly irregular shape, flat around the edges but raised in the middle. An envelope is stuck to it: on the front, it says, "for Ritsuka" in big calligraphic writing.]
Re: [In person]
Maybe you should keep it on until she gets tired of watching you wearing it.
[Not that he will ever get tired of it.]
Or were there instructions with it?
Re: [In person]
[He grumbles and moves a hand over the bell to stop it from ringing.]
That sound is going to drive me insane!
[A angry hiss slips out of him and he pulls it off, then tosses it across the room. It flies out of view, then a soft ring can be heard from around Ritsuka's neck.]
Stupid THING! Hiss!
Re: [In person]
Keep acting like that, and she'll never get tired of it.
Re: [In person]
Hmph, she's so annoying...
[The cat ears twitch around Soubi's hand until Ritsuka's shakes his head to free himself. The tiny bell jingling loudly.]
Anyway, I wanted some help bringing this stuff back to our room... Oh, but, you should see if you have any present first.
[He knew he'd gotten Soubi something and he would of liked to watch the man open his gifts. He wonders if Soubi's ever gotten a gift before...]
Re: [In person]
I should open my presents first...?
[In answer to Ritsuka's unspoken question, Soubi has indeed been given presents before. But all of them were from Kio, and they've always been opened in private. It feels a bit strange to be indulging himself like this in front of his master.]
Re: [In person]
[The boy crawls under the tree to look for Soubi's gifts. He nearly disappearing behind a pile of presents, if not for his tail showing.]
Re: [In person]
It's here. Is yours the one with blue wrapping paper?
Re: [In person]
The blue ones are from me.
Re: [In person]
He looks up at Ritsuka in surprise. He's touched, and he doesn't know how to express it. He's never been given a gift by a master. Punishment and pain: that is the only kind of treatment Soubi knows how to react to. Kindness, the treatment of a servant like him as a human being... He has no idea what to do.]
Re: [In person]
What's wrong? I thought you liked butterflies...
Re: [In person]
They're beautiful, Ritsuka.
Re: [In person]
Yeah... well you're other ones were looking a little tarnished.
[He mutters and pulls away then pushes the big gift into Soubi's chest.]
G-go on, open the rest.
Re: [In person]
The expensive oil paint set glimmers down at him, more beautiful and higher quality than any art supplies he has ever bought for himself. He stares, dumbfounded, for a full minute before looking up at Ritsuka. He wants guidance, seeks control as he does over every confusing sign Ritsuka has given him, but he dares not ask. Instead, he gives a chuckle.]
I've never had paints this beautiful before, Ritsuka. Shall I paint a portrait of you with them? I think it would suit you.
Re: [In person]
That's good, because I really don't know anything about paints. I'm just glad I picked ones you can use.
[He's just go with the lie if it was one. He blinks curiously at the offer.]
Yeah, sure, I've never seen Soubi at work before.
Re: [In person]
This will be my first time painting a human for anything other than practice. I'm glad that you've agreed.
Re: [In person]
Osamuuuuu!
Who is Osamu?
She was so adorable ♥
She waaas. That was my favorite daily-life story in all of Loveless.
[He nods, but he's clearly wondering about this new friend.]
That's a strange name for a girl.
Same~
[He shrugs and picks up Soubi's final present from him.]
Last one from me... don't laugh at it!

He looks at Ritsuka blankly.]
I can use these to make you do something for me?
no subject
Don't make it sound weird. It's not making me, it's just... like asking me for a favor. This here, is a super coupon, you can only use it once so no cheating and writing down that you want more coupons or something.
...Does it upset you?

A master treating a servant with kindness is, after all, a dangerous thing. If he isn't careful, it will kill Soubi.
But he can't possibly say these things to Ritsuka. He doesn't want to upset him, not when he himself is upset. So he smiles and gives Ritsuka another hug.]
Of course not. I love it, Ritsuka.

[Originally he used to only make them for Seimei, but even though were a joke since at the time there was nothing he wouldn't give to Seimei if he asked.]
Go on and open your other gift. You got some from Kio, Yuiko, Natsuo and... not sure who some of these people are. Soubi's been making friends?
[He looks pleased about that.]

And will you open the presents I gave you?
