{5th Collar} Waking up.....[In Person]
[With Ichabod's careful attention, Tom was dressed in a clean, fresh uniform and his body was repaired of any damage done. It was as if he's been asleep but the dream wasn't anywhere near pleasant. He opens his eyes quickly and a sharp gasp escaped his chest. His eyes were filled with terror. He sits up and the sharp psychosomatic pain from the dream made him flinch and fall back on the pillows.]
What.....happened? My mouth....it's so dry.
[He's not sure if there was anyone in the room with him but there was so much going on in his mind that he wasn't sure where to start.]
What.....happened? My mouth....it's so dry.
[He's not sure if there was anyone in the room with him but there was so much going on in his mind that he wasn't sure where to start.]

He shifted a bit at Tom's movements but didn't yet wake up. He rather mutters something in Namekian and snuggles into the warm crook of his arm]

His eyes looked to the cover of the book.]
no subject
The book in his hands is very old and worn, it's one of Dende's favorites. It's an old autobiography hand written by Kami. While the words are all in Namekian, Kami included detailed diagrams of the ship he arrived to Earth in, the Lookout, and of some of the foes he had encountered, and of course Piccolo, both as the Daimao and as his reborn self.]

He laid back down and took in a deep breath but he didn't remember ever going to bed and noticed that his gunbelt wasn't around his waist.]
Did I....pass out in the hall?
no subject
But then he caught a glimpse of Tom, instantly he perked up and a big smile spread across his face, and his eyes began to water.]
T-Tom?
no subject
Last I checked that's my name unless they stole it from me while I was asleep.

[Dende wiped the tears of relief that had formed in the corners of his eyes, and grabbed onto his friends hand with his own trembling ones, smiling all the while]
Are you feeling well, i-is there anything you need?
no subject
Water....and I'm a little sore.
no subject
Well, I'm not sure this will help, but it couldn't hurt to try...
[Dende holds out his hands in front of him and in a few moments a faint light is emited from them. Hopefully easing any discomfort he could]
no subject
Wha- what are you doing?
no subject
I-I'm a healer... I just want to see if I-I could try an ease the soreness, I promise, I wouldn't to anything to hurt you.
no subject
Was it...was I....what happened?
no subject
Tom... you were attacked and...
[Dende gets a little choked up]
you were killed Tom...
no subject
I...I remember....
[Either it was trauma that forced those memories back or it was denial, Tom couldn't remember how he died much less the person that performed the act.]
....him saying he was sorry.
no subject
He was quite surprised to hear that Piccolo... no.... it wasn't confirmed as Piccolo yet... it could still be someone else... someone was sorry for what they had done]
Tom, I'm right here now. I promise no one is going to hurt you now...
no subject
He looks to Dende and gave a small smile. Dende was much too gentle to experience death and yet he was talking about it. Tom forced his thoughts through and gave a nod.]
I guess...I'm still figuring it all out.
no subject
[Dende gives Tom's shoulders a squeeze]
Are you still feeling sore? I didn't get to finish healing you.
no subject
Yes. Thanks.
[Dende's actions reminded him a lot of Doug but it was his speech that reminded Tom of Ioki, the peaceful interrogator and Ioki never made threats or demands which always got him an answer.
Tom gave a glance at the taller Namek.]
What was it like for you? Waking up from the dead, I mean.
no subject
Well, the second time I was killed was here in the manor. I woke up in some dark little shelf. I was killed in a city so when all were returned tot he manor I guess that's where they saw fit to put me. Truth be told I was quite terrified. It was terribly nostalgic of the first time I was killed.
[He shrugs with his trademark friendly smile as though it was nothing. Finished with his healing the light stops and he places a hand back on his friends shoulder]
Better?
no subject
Wow, that's much better. Um....this subject seems a bit grim but I guess now we have something in common with it so I guess that's not so bad to talk about it, but why were you killed? I mean, if you know, that is.
no subject
And Zarbon knew that. He fought me for the Dragon Balls twice, succeeding on the second time... you saw the aftermath of that. But he didn't know the password. So he took a hostage and demanded my presence. I came planning to either kill the Dragon or try to wish him away somehow, but the Dragon Balls didn't work and in a fit of rage, he killed me. To be quite honest I didn't really mind at the time. I was simply just so happy that he couldn't make his wish.
no subject
So he just took it out on you straightforward because his plan didn't work. Wow...that's amazing that you have the fortitude to be so calm about it. I guess it's a good thing that his plan went down the rabbit hole. Who knows what could have happened.
[He thinks of something quickly and smirks.]
You know, he's the kind of guy I'd prank just to piss him off.
no subject
It wasn't the first time it's happened. The first time I was killed by the very person who almost single handedly exterminated my race, because I was trying to heal the injured who had fallen in battle. I was just child back then. There's nothing Zarbon could do to top that.
And besides, I've lived many years. I'm a bit older then my appearence lets on. Plenty of time to come to terms with such things.
[Dende laughs a bit nervously and rubs the back of his neck]
That could prove risky... he's quite a powerful being...
no subject
But it'll be fun. I like seeing powerful people get all cheesed off and become nacho dip in the head from being stupid.
no subject
Now, now, nacho dip is all well and good, but when the intended target can level a city with the wave of his hand, and run a hand through you torso as though it were butter... it's generally in your best interest to let things slide.
Besides... I learned the hard way he doesn't take kindly to pranks....
