Page Six: [In Person/Text]
[Anyone who wanders in the kitchen will find Light sitting at the table using his newly honed water bending abilities to manipulate hot water from the kettle into a mug in which he has added a few fragrant loose leaf green tea leaves. As the molecules move in synchronized unison, and carefully fill up the cup, the corners of his lips twitch upwards in smug satisfaction for a short moment.
The smile disappears as a rumbling crash seemingly shakes the entire Manor. Silverware rattles and plates threaten to fall off the table. The tea cupped in his hands however, remains safe, not even a single droplet spills onto the floor; Light's power holds it steady. He takes a careful sip of the hot liquid, as he muses. The rest of the world seemed as though it would end at any moment. Light never believed in nonsense like the end of days, or Armageddon, but what was happening outside wasn't so far off from that. He switches on his Blackberry and sends out a text message.]
Does anyone have any idea of what is going on?

It's kinda why the field trips we get every once in a while are appreciated. We get to dick about in whatever city or place she leaves us. -- Oh so you do like it? Hah, told you no one was above my cooking.
[In Person]
That's a rather ominous thing to say you know. I may just have to start eating my meals with silver chopsticks in the future. Or better yet, offer you the first bite. Out of the goodness of my heart of course. But really, flattery wasn't my intent. I only seek to encourage burgeoning talent.
Just for saying that, I get the feeling our next field trip will be somewhere less than hospitable. Under the sea, Uranus, that sort of thing.
[In Person]
Oh of course, though I never specified what I could poison them with. I see, so would you class me as burgeoning talent?
Ugh, Devil Woman better not push it or I'll kick her ass. We've been thoroughly butt-fucked by the drama llama enough already. If she doesn't give us at least two days of relaxing I'll go on strike.
[In Person]
[He tilts his head slightly to the side, smiling.]
But of course, you wouldn't poison my food at all. We are friends now after all, aren't we? Do let me know how you intend on going on strike though. I may or may not join you. This week has been...simply put, ridiculous.
[In Person]
You wouldn't have said it, unless you're enjoying trying to run circles around me linguistically.
['He doesn't look that bad when he smiles.' He gave off a lot of signals, but he was enjoying playing into them. Fueling, seeing where they go.]
Oh-ho! So we're friends now? [He gives a playful smile.] Well, I suppose how intimate we were back in the game's room, it'd be rude to say we weren't. [Pausing he chuckles, reaching out and putting Light into a headlock and nooging him.] You aren't bad kid.
Strike? Hmm, depends. I'll have to think about that, come up with something horrifically gay and she might shut up for a while.

[Light scowls as Wallace starts mussing his hair. He can't ever recall being subjected to this particular brand of childishness, and though the urge is to struggle and free himself, Light is way too cool to flail. Or so he tells himself.]
...I take it back if it means this sort of thing is going to happen at a higher frequency.
[In Person]
Pfft. Lighten up you great prude. It's just a little bit of friendly horseplay.
[In Person]
....Very clever pun. I've heard it before though.
[In Person]
Heh, you'll have to excuse that, I didn't realise it until I said it. But still, loosen up a bit ever so often, it'll do ya good.
