Yes. I am almost completely positive I know who did this. If he knows someone is trying to stop his master plan he will eliminate them. Anyone we tell will be in danger as well as us.

Except that you don't know who did it- you have a suspect- that's a start but that doesn't make them the culprit. Concrete evidence is what decides that- and I think the person who did this would probably find it suspicious no one's drawn attention to it- with a murder there's a murder investigation- we can't keep that secret.

What if it happens again? What happens when more people die because we didn't tell them to be on their guard?

I've been studying this man for most of my adult life, I wrote a book on the subject. I know he's still just a suspect and this is still just an investigation but do you really want to take that risk, Kudo?

It will happen again, that's why I'm assembling a team to take investigate the murder and find the killer.

The way the body was suggests the killer wanted someone to find him- multiple people to stumble upon the murder. That means it'd be in everyone's best interest to warn them there's a killer amongst us and not to go anywhere alone.

We have a better chance of stopping the killings if we stick in groups.

Yes, he did, and yes, it is. I'm working on that as we speak. And we will be in a group. The group of the people I trust to bust this case with as few victims as possible.

Trust me, I want to solve this. You have no idea how badly. I'm a detective like you, I believe in justice like you, why do you think I would do anything to endanger it?

I never said I thought you didn't believe in justice- what I said is that I don't see it as a good idea to keep this covered up- if people think we're not doing anything about the murder we'll be seen as incompetent and someone else will try to step in and possibly get themselves killed.

We can't keep it secret that we're investigating- we can keep our progress on the case secret- but we have to announce there is an investigation.

We need to be careful, one wrong move and we will put the entire Manor in danger.

The one wrong move would be refusing to to alert the other residents we have a murderer in our midst. It's not like we can keep the crime scene from being noticed-- people will have questions we should let them know what happened and that we're working on it- not to mention we're going to have to question people- unless you intended to go about this assuming you're right about the killer and not interrogate anyone.
