[He's on the prowl wandering into the middle of the halls and shouts at the top of his lungs]

HEY BRAT! YOU WANTED TO FACE ME! HERE I AM! COME AND GET ME!

[And some maniacal laughter]

_{[John aims carefully at the green beast who hasn't seen him yet. He fires, the gun shot echoing through the halls]}

[Piccolo rubs the back of his head like he had and itch. He does turn around to the source of the noise though, unaware he had been shot at]

There you are. I've been looking for you. I'm in a good mood today, so I'll give you the first shot.

[He crosses his arms and walks up to John, looking down on him from his intimidating 7 and half foot height.]

_{[John swallows hard, and a nagging feeling at the back of his throat rises and tickles the stem of his brain. He shakes his head and returns the gun to it's holster, backing away slightly, fists raised.]}

Is this what anger is?

[He laughs]

Well aren't you an odd duck? [~~so says the giant green man~~] I'm pretty sure it's fear, human. Inciting it is... a specialty of mine.

[He moves his head to either side, cracking it]

So what happened to all the fight you had in you? Can't back up all that tough talk??

_{[John draws his sword, returning the pistol to its holster.]}

I was referring to you. Normally I put down my opposition quickly. you seem to be interesting enough to speak to.

_{[He becomes distracted, his mind wandering to his partner...and their last encounter.]}

If you really think that flimsy little piece of scrap metal is going to do you a damn bit of good you're sorely mistaken.

[He laughs]

Oh I'm 'interesting' now, am I? What makes you say that? The skin? The ears?

I would love to say it was your attitude.

_{[John thinks over the situation carefully. It's clear that bullets have no noticeable effects...it's possible that his sword would do even less damage. Hell, perhaps he would like to have some of this...fun.]}

_{[John swings his sword, quickly and hard at the green giant's torso.]}

MY attitude? Oh it's not all that rare, human. [~~Where I come from it's called being an ass~~]

[The sword manages to cut the fabric of his gi, but stops at his skin]

Oh would you look at that. You lose. My turn.

[Piccolo raises his hand up and simply ~~pimp slaps~~ swats John into the adjacent wall.]

_{[The air completely left John's chest as he collided with the wall, leaving him choking and gasping for breath. His sword had flown from his hand and buried itself in the floor beside him.]}

Tch. Is that all? For all your yapping I thought you would put up more of a fight. Typical human.

[Piccolo walks over and nudges John with his foot]

You alive down there?

[Somehow I don't think he's going to take kindly to the word 'fun' after this...]

_{[John reaches for his pistol with one hand, the other balling into a fist and striking the green man in the jaw.]}

[Piccolo chuckles, unmoved by punch at all]

Oh? You've still got some fight in you? Shame it won't do you any good.

_{[John stood with the help of the wall supporting him. He quickly drew his pistol and pointed it in the guy's face, but paused breathing heavily.]}

Who...are....you?

Piccolo. And that little toy of yours isn't going to work. Go on. Shoot it.

[And with that he leans forward and bites on the gun, not to destroy it, but so that the bullet will go right in his mouth.]

_{[John is surprised by this action and drops the gun completely. Even more shocking was the feeling of surprise. He knew he was in trouble. He picked up the gun and ran off, not caring if he looked like a coward. Some things were more important.]}

[Piccolo watches him run away and just laughs. Oh it had been so long since he got to terrify someone like that. It was so refreshing.]
