1rst ritual || Vol'Jin || [Accidental video] [in person]

[There's a crunch and the video feed cuts on to the inside of a mouth. When the face pulls away there's a a visage of a tusked blue behemoth on the screen, looking utterly perplexed. and after giving a sniff he tosses the slobbery thing off to the side. The room shown is very primitive and tribal looking, housing odd beaded feathered little knickknacks, also there are no shortages of skulls, and the occasional shrunken head... and probably many more things your average sane person doesn't want to know about.]

Now, where be Vol'Jin... dis be some trick of dem's alliance scum?

[His old raspy voice can be easily picked up by the blackberry, despite it's place on the floor. He bends down sniffing then feeling the ground. He finding his bow under the bed he takes it, feeling much more comfortable]

No, dis be no trick of dems human's... Dis be some powerful voodoo dat brought old Vol'Jin here...

[He stands up straight to crack his back, and bumps his head on the ceiling. He rubs his head. Grumbling he heads out the door leaving the device behind]

[OOC:Since he's so primitive, if he hears the blackberry speaking his first reaction will probably be to kill it, so in person is probably the way to go with him XD]

[....Great, a weapon. Tris doesn't seem that intimidated, though.]

I'm Trisana Chandler. These devices- [Tris holds up her blackberry.] -allow for communication over a distance, by voice, image, and text.

[She's putting her hands on her hips.] I can show you how to use it. There's nothing like them in my world, either... [Yet.]

Text. Writing, essentially. And as there are no Loa or anyone like you where I'm from, the easiest explanation is that the places we are from are nothing alike. I've an entire book of notes on the differences between the worlds people here are from, or at least the differences in magic.

Not quite. I'm originally from Ninver, in Capchen, but I moved to a temple near Summersea in Emelan. None of which likely makes sense to you, illustrating our differences. I don't know what the 'Eastern Kingdoms' are, nor the 'Outlands', because our frames of reference are completely at odds.

In short, were it not for the strange power the Author has, we never would have even thought the others' existence to be possible. [She's tucking her Blackberry away.]

[SIGH.] Considering I was half-raised by a scholar? Yes. Yes I am.

Basically! [Tris is following him in-- and looking around. ...Well then. he can't possibly be any more honestly barbaric than the Thairians, especially given he's listening to her.] The explanation I've gotten makes her sound a bit similar to an overpowered ambient mage from my world. [Given who's saying it, that 'overpowered' bit is truly rich.]

We're in someone's story, essentially. Brought in as the characters, because her skill is nonexistant. I'm not sure what kind of strange magic she has, but she is truly horrible at her craft.

A Dragon aspect? [Tris is looking very interested all of a sudden! You mentioned things she knows nothing about.] What're those? [She might be fumbling in her pocket for the blackberry to record this until she can write it down, though she has a good memory.]

They sound almost like gods, only without having the creation of the world attributed to them... And they sound more fact than any gods back home seem. I've never heard tell of gods gone mad back home...

I imagine it would have been interesting to meet Malygos before he went mad- though meeting any of them would be nothing short of amazing. I've seen so many types of power that simply do not exist back home...

[...Tris is turning red in the face. Oops.]
