shot o.1 // [voice]

[there's no video to accompany the message: it's strictly audio, whether due to paranoia or the holder's inability to work a Blackberry not immediately apparent. The voice is dry and irritated, coughs punctuating the short delivery he gives to announce himself. It's probably familiar to more than a few people in the manor...]

If this is Hell, it's not a very good rendition. Where's the fire? Brimstone? Demons to make me repent for everything I've done? [a cough, here; perhaps a small bit of laughter that stops as soon as it began. there's not a circle of hell that he doesn't belong in, and he's not sure why he's not there now.]

If it's not Hell, then does anyone know where I can find some chocolate? [his tone is dry on this sentence; he clearly thinks he's dead, and this is all just a hallucination from inside his mind.]

[Light resists the urge to roll his eyes at this. Recalibrating his reading on this Mello would be swifter had his grudge against the other one not been as powerful. The verbal jousting, he'll admit, is infinitely preferable considering the last one had attempted to set him on fire. He certainly isn't going to complain if that's the worst this one does... though, it's Mello. He doubts that's the case at all.]

Do elaborate.

Curiosity, really.

[He returns in the same bright tone. Possible gratification. He had spent a considerable amount of time imagining how he'd prefer to see Mello die. Immolation, drowning, evisceration- oh, he hadn't been picky. Cardiac arrest would have been perfectly acceptable as well. Pain, humiliation and suffering would have been nice bonuses however.]

You are dead after all.

For now, maybe. Who knows what the Author will do to you.

Considering your stature, surprise isn't an unrealistic reaction really.

Rest assured I'm vigilant enough as it is, but I thank you for your concern.
