[ Maybe it is an idiotic or stupid thing to do, but Nancy left the safety of her room. Then again, she wasn’t even sure yet if it was safe to stay in that room. Nothing made sense to her. This kidnapping wasn’t the normal kidnapping. What kind of kidnapper left a communication device to its captive? Or leave them unbound? Or leave the doors and windows unlocked.

It was probably the sleuth in her, but she found this whole situation very curious. She wanted answers.

She opened the fifth door she opened since she left her room and looked inside. It looked like a library. She stepped inside and ignored the door close behind her. Except for the public library and school library, she had never seen these many books before. Finding a volume that caught her eye, she removed it from the shelf and sat down. ]

I’ve been looking for this…

[ She tucks it under her arm to read for later. Now, she looks around wondering if there was someone to interrogate about this place. ]

Oh dear, Nancy Drew… what did you get yourself into now?

[Light had been quietly sitting in the library, perusing the pages of the Decameron. He looks up when he sees an unfamiliar face. It's almost cruel, he notes, that the Author brought in a new person in during a week in which everything is as unstable as it is. From the table next to hers, he casually studies her appearance over the page. She certainly didn't look dangerous, no visible weaponry at the very least. Mind made up, he closes his book, and calmly walks over to the stranger, a perfectly pleasant smile on his face.]

[The door is pushed open as Conan slides inside and heads over to the nonfiction section. He's done his leisure reading for today- now back to figuring out the manor!]
