1rst illusion || Rokudo Mukuro || [video/in person]
[There's the sound of something heavy and wet landing on the floor with a loud 'shlop' sound. It's dark at first, but then there's some shifting and the blackberry falls onto the floor, the camera picking up a wet figure on the ground. The figure is bound up in chains, stuck with wires and tubes and other fastenings. There's a tube over his right eye and his left eye is taped shut. The bottom of his face is covered by a mask with various tubes sticking out of it. Possibly for breathing and feeding underwater? His wrists, ankles, and neck are bound in manacles. Clearly someone didn't want this person to get out, however it's unclear whether he's a prisoner or perhaps an experiment. He appears to look like a regular young boy in every other respect...
The figure on the ground spazzes and jerks in a brief without any warning. It's unclear as to if he's awake or his body is simply in shock from the obvious sudden change in environment. The body goes still immediately afterward. Then, a muffled noise emits from the figure. His chest rises and falls in sudden jerky movements... that can either be attributed to laughter or crying...
Regardless, it doesn't appear as though he will be able to free himself on his own... and conveniently enough room 10 now adorned with a shiny new nameplate is opened a crack...]

Re: [In Person]
[He makes a horrified noise and drops the mask, falling backwards, when he notices the mask is attached to tubes that were going down Mukuro's throat. What sort of-- of insanity spawned this!?]
[Regaining his courage, Zuko swallows before leaning forward again to pull the mask and the tubes away with a horrified look on his face.] Who did this to you...? [And just what had this guy possibly done to deserve it?]
Re: [In Person]
Now... the boy asked something. "who did this to him?" He couldn't help but chuckle at that, though his voice was hoarse and weak from the tubes. Silly boy didn't know that one with that many chains would have to be nothing less then a monster
and one hell of an escape artist to boot]Kufufufu.... V-Vendicare....

Re: [In Person]
Re: [In Person]
Tell me, what is your name?
Re: [In Person]
Zuko. And yours? [As he speaks, he reaches down towards the manacles on Mukuro's feet, but more slowly this time, with just a hint of hesitation. He's starting to become a little more uncertain about whether or not he should've helped this stranger so much.]
Re: [In Person]
Rokudo Mukuro.
[The teen waits patiently until he hears the sound of the metal fall to the ground. Though he doesn't move them immediately. If his legs were any bit as shaky as his hands, the task of moving them around the hot metal could be risky. He settles instead on trying to push himself into a sitting position. However, he doesn't get far off the ground before his shaky arms give out and he falls backwards, hitting his head on the ground. He lets out a hiss in pain and irritation... perhaps the manacle around his neck was too heavy? Throwing him off balance? He couldn't be this weak, even after a month in that chamber! With his usual smile (though feigning a bit more of a humble attitude) he looks back up at... 'Zuko' he said his name was?]
I'm sorry could I trouble you for your assistance one more time?
[Mukuro raises a weak and trembling hand and taps at the metal collar around his neck]
Re: [In Person]
[A few seconds later, the collar falls away, too.] There. Do you need help getting up? [Zuko's not about to just reach forward and help the guy-- if their places had been reversed, he'd certainly not want help like that unless he'd specifically asked for it. Pride and all that.]
Re: [In Person]
[And once more Mukuro works to push himself up off the ground, but even with the added strength from his illusions the feat proves difficult. His arms tremble and his bones crack and pop from under-use. He does manage to sit up, however, but the effort leaving his breathing heavily.
Now sitting up, the teen glances around the room. It was to his tastes, though a bit run down.... which would imply he was meant to be brought here. So someone had a purpose for him enough to go through all the trouble of breaking him out of Vendicare. Now this boy, what was he to them? He didn't seem prepared to see Mukuro, judging by his reaction earlier. Perhaps he was a needed tool as well? Well it was possible he at least knew more on the subject then Mukuro did.]
Now, clearly I wasn't broken out of Vendicare from the sheer good will of someone's heart. Where am I? And what reason have I been brought here?
Re: [In Person]
[By the time he's done
rantingexplaining, he's huffing angrily from the effort.]Re: [In Person]
Pardon any rudeness, but that has to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
Re: [In Person]
Re: [In Person]
[He glances under the bed and smirks, clumsily reaching over for his ornate trident that was conveniently tucked away there. It didn't look like it was there before... but perhaps it had just gone unnoticed at the shock of seeing another person tied and chained to the ground? Or perhaps it was just one of Mukuro's many mysteries.]
How nice of them to include this in my belongings, I could have sworn it was confiscated with he rest of my belongings... kufufufu
[A lie. The trident was a creation of his will, but he felt the need to offer a more... solid explanation of it's existence.
Much less shaky then before, almost surprisingly so, Mukuro pulls himself to his feet. He's still weak in the knees and rather winded from the effort, but considering he was struggling to sit up not even a moment prior. ]
I wouldn't suppose you would know if they had my clothes tucked away here somewhere? I would much rather not be walking around... quite like this...
Re: [In Person]
I dunno, when I was brought here I only had the things I was wearing at the time.
Re: [In Person]
[Mukuro's eyes scan the room, spotting an armoire not too far a way, he hobbles his way over, leaning on the trident. Hopefully it wasn't just for show, he wasn't fond of the idea of walking around in prison clothes....WET prison clothes.
Well it's the moment of truth. He opens the doors and MUCH to his pleasure all his clothes are folded neatly on the lower shelves, and his jackets hung just as neatly above them.]
Ah, very nice.
[He glances over to the other boy. Well, playing the 'buddy buddy' role wouldn't hurt. The boy seemed to be of a similar size... and if Mukuro was going to associate with him he didn't want to have to put up with any offensive odors... he did that enough with Ken...]
You and I seem to be of the same size. If you wish for a change of cloths I would be glad to lend you some, in return for your assistance earlier.
[Like hell he was going to get one of Mukuro's jackets though. NO ONE touches his jackets...]
Re: [In Person]
That would be... greatly appreciated. [He gets to his feet to approach, looking at the clothes with some curiousity-- they seem to be unlike any style he's seen in the four nations, but not that different from what seems to be common around the manor.]
Re: [In Person]
Pick what you like, however the jackets are off-limits.
[He waves his hand dismissively, waving off the gratitude.]
Though if you wouldn't mind facing the dresser while I change.
Re: [In Person]
Thanks again for this. [He stays respectfully faced towards the dresser until he's sure Mukuro's done.]
Re: [In Person]
I'm finished.
[He takes a seat on his bed, leaning his trident against the wall before hand so that he could put on his boots]
It is no trouble. I can empathize [
no he can't] as I was also stuck in that outfit for longer then you would probably like to know.[He nods his head in the direction of the wet white garb on the floor. oddly enough, he no longer seems to be wet....]
Re: [In Person]
Yeah, I understand. [He starts looking curiously at the trident-- he's never seen a pole-arm that ended like that before.] What exactly do you call that?
Re: [In Person]
[Mukuro finishes adjusting his boots and stand up, taking the trident and holding it so Zuko could inspect it, or pick it up should he want to.]
It's a trident, fairly well known where I'm from, though moreso as a piece of symbolism from legends rather then a weapon. It was never known to be the most popular of weapons but I seem to fair just fine with it.
[Though in his case it was bound closely to his illusions. Not to mention the top could be separated from the staff for different types of combat. All very useful when coming up with his plans and schemes during a fight.]
Now, I don't suppose you could tell me more about this wall you were talking about?
Re: [In Person]
It's located outside the manor-- far down the path, past the forest. It's... like an invisible barrier. You can see some kind of mist or fog or something beyond it, but nothing else. I attacked it with as much of my fire as I could, and I know someone else who tried using explosives on it... it never seems to even crack.
Re: [In Person]
[Mukuro takes back his trident and thoughtfully taps his chin, though he wasn't surprised brute force didn't work. Against powers like his they didn't typically work]
Well perhaps you simply took the wrong approach? Perhaps we should take a visit to this wall. I'll see what I can do with it. I doubt I'll be able to break it, however I may be able to... breach it somehow.
