[The video feed comes on, and Nepeta grins into the screen, a slight hint of a red streak of dried something across her cheek] So, I’ve been fighting these monsters, and they don’t seem to drop any grist, but they don’t seem to be consorts, either, there’s too many varieties, and they didn’t try to commewnicate.

So… [She shows the feed a stripped down corpse of an ogre and a large pot bubbling over a fire] They seem to be edible!

[The feed switches back to her face]

Anyone hungry?

[Despite her evident age, the young troll had been doing well for herself over this last week.]
