Karte 002 [In Person + Video]

[And once more, Pinoko is transported to another place!

Just when she was getting used to that weird place with all of its strange, sometimes perverted people...! Not to mention all of the tasty snacks— she's now where the manor used to be, only there's no manor and she's never been here before!

Pinoko frowned, but then remembered her communicator! If she really wasn't just dreaming, then she should be able to get some help!

She starts recording a video message, looking quite worried.]

Hello...

[On his travels, Leonardo comes across Pinoko talking into her blackberry]

Buongiorno, piccolo *Hello, little one - are you lost?

[W-wow, Leonardo, you're so handsome! Pinoko blinks and kind of just stares at him for a moment, while his words sort of drift around her foggy mind. Once her mind clears up and the meaning of the words become clear, she frowns.]

It's not Piccolo, it's Pinoko!

[She then nods her head.] Yesh. Mishter, what's your name?

[Why yes, yes he is~]

[He smiles sheepishly, holding his hands up]

Oh, no - you misunderstand! Piccolo means 'little one' - though it is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Pinoko

[He kneels down so that he's more at her level]

I am Leonardo Da Vinci - now, were you looking for anybody? Perhaps I could help you find them

[Pinoko blinks, then smiles.] Oh!

But, you know, Pinoko's not a kid.

Mishter... Leonaldo Da Binchi? [She blinks a couple of times, looking confused.] Pinoko feels like she knows that name from shomewhere... hmm, but where, where?

[She rubs her chin, eyebrows knitting as she tries her best to remember.]

[Not a child..? She certainly looked like one, but, he wasn't one to try and push any buttons. He'll indulge her for now.

With a smile, he plays dumb]

I do not know, I don't remember meeting you before now...~

Hmm, Pinoko doesn't think she's met you before either, but that name... maybe in a newspaper? [She holds her head, frowning at her inability to remember.]

Mishter, are you famoush for shomething?

[With a small chuckle, Leonardo laces his hands behind his back as he heads off in one direction]

I don't suppose you've heard of the Mona Lisa?

[Never mind that he's only been told he's the paintings owner - by this time he hasn't actually done it yet XD; ]

[She watches him curiously.]

Aaaah! Yesh! [She bumps her fist into her open palm to convey remembrance!]

Sho, you're the famoush painter!

[Her eyes sparkled and she clasped her hands beside her cheek.] It's sho pretty, Mishter! Pinoko shaw it in a museum!

Can you paint Pinoko pretty too?

But, I think we should work on finding your friend?

[Aaaand plus all of his art materials are gone with the Manor../brb heart breaking]

[She blinks, then blushes; just how did she get so carried away?!] Oh, right!

Pinoko wantsh to be painted neksht to her Doc, anyway!

Hm? Next your Doc? You mean Doctor?

Is he the one we're looking for?

Yesh! Doc is Dr. Black Jack!

[She nods her head to the last question as well.] Uh-huh! He's the one I'm looking for.

[Lenalee is not exactly in a position to be offering help, having no real idea where she is either. But she can't just ignore a lost child.]

I don't know where we are, but I can try to find you.

Yesh! Thank you, Mish...? [She smiles in relief, but wants a name!]

Have you sheen Dr. Black Jack? Pinoko can't find him...! He's very handshome, with a shcar on his face like thish [She traces a curved line down from her forehead to lower down her left cheek.] His shkin is light on the right, dark on the left!

His hair is black and white and he wears two black coats! And a white shirt underneath and a big red bowtie! [All the while, she's miming and gesturing. It ends with her tying off an invisible bowtie and then tracing its large shape in the air with her fingers again.]

But, even though he's sho handshome, don't you dare try anything with him! Pinoko's his wife!

[She returns the smile, endeared and amused, if also more than a little confused.]

I'm sorry, I'm very new here. I haven't seen many people yet. But I would be happy to help you look.

[But that description... something in her chest clenches. It sounds an awful lot like Allen, aside from the bit about black hair. A scar over his left cheek, dark skin-- on his arm, anyway. Even some white hair. How strange that someone as unique looking as Allen has someone here with similar characteristics.]

[Or perhaps he is simply on her mind, having just disappeared from his side. He must be terribly worried by now; they probably all are. She hopes that Brother hasn't learned of her disappearance yet.]

Oh, of course not! [Lenalee's smile widens. How cute, the girl must be very fond of this person.] I wouldn't dream of doing anything like that.

Sho you're Mish Lenalee!

Pinoko undershtands... it's okay, Pinoko's sheen him here before!

... is shomething wrong, Mish? [She frowns a bit, seemingly sensing her discomfort, but when she smiles wider, Pinoko can't help returning it!]

That's good, I'm sure that he's still around here somewhere.

[She shakes her head, clearing away thoughts of home to focus on their current task.]

I'm fine. This place is just a lot to take in.

It isn't fun being away from home, is it?

But, maybe you can think of it as a vacation!

Haha, vacations can be nice. But I'm afraid that I have important things to be doing at home, and I don't want my friends to worry.

Pinoko remembers Doc being away for about two days, but then Pinoko went to bed and woke up in that weird plache with all of the people!

Doc sheems like he's been here for a while... longer than two days. [She looks thoughtful.] Pinoko thinksh time might work differently here!

[She squishes her cheeks in.] Ohmigewdnesh!

He shaid that thish plache is run by shome Author and thish Author can change the plaches we're in and even our bodies!

It's not too big a shtretch to think she might change our minds too, right?!

I hope not... I wouldn't want them to get stuck here too.

[Though it would be comforting. And maybe it would be easier to find a way out with one of her comrades' help.]

Ah, I wouldn't worry about that! I'm sure that it's just fine! Changing someone's mind around seems a lot more complicated than just moving a person, doesn't it?
