Match 04 | Sasagawa Ryohei | [In Person]

[Ryohei is in a small forest clearing, with a deer carcass. How he managed to catch a deer with his loud voice and impatience? Who knows, it must have been a really stupid deer. 

He's kindling a campfire, and surprisingly enough he seems to be doing it properly, as a few minutes later he succeeds in making a cozy little campfire. The only problem is...he has no idea how to cook the deer. After about a second of contemplating on how to complete the feat, he decides it's a really good idea to chuck the deer at the fire TO THE EXTREME and see if it cooks itself...but, alas, the fire, being too small in size, flickers away soon after having a full-grown deer thrown at it.]

...MAYBE IT'LL WORK TO THE EXTREME IF I TRY AGAIN ONE MORE TIME!!

[...He's repeating the cycle of fire making and deer throwing over and over again, he seems really adamant on making this cooking method work.]

[Light's out! It's time for an unannounced nap-time, sprawled out on the ground! Because this little body really doesn't have THAT much energy and this has worn her out immensely.]

U-UHM...OKAY I'LL GO HANG THE DEER UP!!!! /b>

[Of course right when Ryohei turns his back he sees Pinoko on the ground..]

[...From where he was standing....Pinoko looked awfully....dead?! He runs up to Pinoko with extreme urgency and sees that she's...sleeping. Ryohei gives a sigh and picks Pinoko up and puts her down near the fire, but not so close that she'd get burned from it or anything. He then proceeds to take his jacket off, and gently put it on top of her as a blanket substitute.

...He doesn't really remember what Pinoko told him...but..he heard something about Kabobs? He takes some of the mushrooms from Pinoko and gets down to "cooking".]

[-About an hour later-]

Hey, wake up tiny kid, don't you want something to eat?!

[...He's holding some burned mushrooms on a stick, but hey he put a lot of effort in to it!!!]

[She shifts a bit, groaning grumpily when roused.
She cracks one eye open to blink at the stick.]

You should... 'prolly cut shome shmall pieces'a meat to— [Pinoko yawns widely.] Put on those shticksit'dfillyouup... [And she dozes off again. She's still too tired.

[While nudging Pinoko:] DON'T GO BACK TO SLEEP TINY KID, IT'S EXTREMELY UNHEALTHY IF YOU DON'T EAT ANYTHING!!!

[After about five minutes of trying to get Pinoko wake up and eat the burnt mushrooms, he decides there's no use in trying to wake her up. He smiles. The tiny kid kind of reminded him of his little sister, Kyoko, when she was younger. He sits down next to Pinoko's sleeping form and stares at the fire and he recalls memories of Kyoko and his original world. Not to mention, but he also forgets about the deer during this time. Time flies by as he stares at the fire, and it becomes later and later in to the night. Ryohei, being a growing teenager, doesn't last long when he tries to resist falling asleep and dozes off next to Pinoko.]
