Mary Winchester | 05 | [In Person]
[Things seemed to be back to normal this week. No weird little animal/monsters, so sinking ship...just the manor. As though one could say the manor itself was normal...perhaps she could make it a little more normal?
She hadn't seen anyone awake yet, so perhaps she could do something for the other inhabitants while she was clinging to a sense of normalcy. Besides, with seeing young ones on her blackberry, she was sure they could do with a real breakfast, especially after being taken from their homes. Most of the adults seemed like they could cook for themselves...not that they weren't welcome, they were just more capable that the smaller inhabitants, particularly as far as making a hot meal went.
Making sure there was no one else in the kitchen, she got the necessary pots and pans, humming softly as she started cooking. An hour later, Mary was visibly happy, a bright smile across her face as she set out general breakfast foods...she may have made a little to much, but it was just too easy to forget she wasn't at home doing this.
Moving to the sink, she started cleaning the dirty pans. She was sure they would eventually clean themselves, but she couldn't just leave dirty dishes.]

What's your name?
no subject
Gokudera. What's it matter?
[Mmmm coffee good.... almost putting him in a better mood... not that anyone would be able to TELL]
no subject
Sighing softly as he snarked back at her, she was steadily loosing her patience with him.]
I'm just being polite. ...My name's Mary.
no subject
Right, whatever.
[He just moves to the table to table and takes a seat, though he needs to take the dynamite out of the waistband of his pajamas and put it on the table to sit comfortably. He pulls an ashtray closer to him and lights up a cigarette. Nothing like coffee and a smoke.]
no subject
While the dynamite made her raise a brow, the cigarette was her breaking point. This kid didn't even look to be more than fifteen or sixteen at the most, he didn't need to be smoking at his age. Tossing her dishcloth onto the desk, she moved to the table and pulled the ashtray out of his reach.]
You can be rude if you want. Disrespect your elders and drink coffee if you really want to, but you will not smoke in my presence. Are we clear? Put it out.
[She'd take care of his disrespect another day.]
no subject
Go to hell, I'll smoke where I fuckin' want! It's not your business! So piss off!
[The teen scoots back a bit and the grip on his cigarette tightens in case she tried to snatch it out of his hands]
no subject
Ensuring he had no weapons that she could see, she set her hand on the dynamite, making sure her grip was tight in case he tried to take it from her.]
I is my business. I'm the adult, you're a child. I'm not going to just stand by while you ruin your health!
no subject
Alright you listen the fuck up. I'm not a fucking child, I'm a man and I can take care of my fucking self! I don't need you or anyone else to try and fucking baby me! NOW GIVE THAT BACK!
[Well Mary, if it's any consolation, in his fury he's ground the filter of his cigarette, ultimately ruining it]
no subject
You are not a man! You are nothing more than an ill-mannered child throwing a tantrum that would put my six month old to shame! [Standing to her full unimpressive height, she pulled the stick of dynamite behind her. Like hell she was giving this to him when he was fighting with her like this. That was just suicidal.]
I'm not giving this to you, not until you calm down.
Now. Either sit back down and relax or get out! [Evicting him from the kitchen was the best she could do. It wasn't like she could ground him.]
no subject
SHUT THE FUCK UP! Don't talk like you know SHIT!
[He grabs the front of her shirt and pulls her forward]
I'm not leavin' without my dynamite. I made it. It's MINE. Give it here.
no subject
Gritting her teeth when he grabbed her, she didn't want to hurt the boy. It was easy to tell he was human, he wasn't a monster. There was no reason to treat him like one.
Keeping the stick behind her, she shook her head.]
I'll give it to you when you calm down. Now, let me go and sit in that chair. Please. I don't want to hurt you...
no subject
[He Gives her a little shake and ACTUALLY begins to lift her off the ground a little. If it wasn't obvious by the plethora of scars that adorned his exposed upper body, the boy's been in a few fights.
But there was still that hesitation. He didn't want to needlessly hurt this woman. He just wanted what was his so he could leave.]
Give me my dynamite. I leave.
no subject
She couldn't let him hurt someone...not even if it meant that she made a mistake later...]
...Not until you calm down...
[Putting her free arm over his, she gripped his far wrist, steadily tightening her grip as she waited for him to release her. A broken wrist was the least of what she could do, she just didn't want it to go that far.]
Drop me. You don't want to hurt me, I know this...just let me go.
no subject
... and then Gokudera is quite possibly the most angry looking little feral cat to have ever graced to manor.
Which apparently does NOTHING to quell the boy's RAGING vocal cords.]
WHAT IN THE FUCKING HELL!?
[Excuse him while he just-
Flips.
a.
Shit.]
no subject
What the hell?
Looking back to the boy. cat. thing. She didn't realize her lip had curled back in her agitation, vicious looking teeth showing from the sides of her mouth.]
What did you do! Change us back! NOW!
[She couldn't let anyone see her like this, she wasn't even sure a human could understand her. He would be fine, he was a cat. She could tell that she was a large canine though, unless someone wasn't scared of her, she could be having a significantly harder time until she changed back.]
no subject
[The teen shakes himself out of his pama pants. Great that meant he probably was going to be naked when he turned back... when he turned back...
...oh god what if he was stuck like this the whole week. This was going to SUCK so HARD. But oh hey, his dynamite. Well the poofy little cat is going to be going after that]
no subject
He couldn't do anything with it right now, but did he really think she'd give it to him. She wouldn't bust his bubble just yet though.]
Then what did? Do you think this could this be another of the authors insane plots?
no subject
He fumbles with the dynamite a bit as he stuff it into the pocket of his pants and goes to get the other stick.]
no subject
Watch your mouth. Just because you're a cat, it doesn't mean that you can use that kind of language.
[Pulling the dynamite by the fuse, she eases it out of the pocket and moves it to the counter, hopefully out of the cats reach.]
no subject
OI! STOP TOUCHING MY SHIT! IT'S YOUR FRIGGIN' FAULT WE'RE LIKE THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE! IF YOU HAD JUST LEFT ME THE FUCK ALONE NONE OF THIS SHIT WOULD HAVE FUCKING HAPPENED!!
no subject
My fault? I wasn't the one that over reacted and was rude to someone that was just trying to be helpful.
Did you honestly just expect me to leave you alone like that? Sorry. But it's simply not in my nature.
no subject
[And finally he just can't handle this anymore and SNAPS, rushing at her.]
GIVE ME BACK MY DYNAMITE!
no subject
[Dropping to the floor in time to see him rush at her, Mary stood her ground. Before, they were on more equal terms. Now though? She was scared that she could seriously hurt him without meaning to.]
Just stop! If you can show me that you can just relax, I'll give it back!
no subject
[And now that she was back down on the ground this was the perfect opportunity to use her as a spring board to get up on the counter. He almost makes it too, he manages to get his front paws onto the counter, and stick the claws in enough to hold himself there... however his lower half dangled and flailed over the edge of the counter.]
no subject
[Honestly, that was a little too close to home for her. Especially with the knowledge that when she did finally go home, she was as good as dead. Stepping back after he jumped on her, she stared at him before making a split decision. She was bigger than him and he needed to calm down. Reaching up, she wrapped her mouth around his midsection, making sure not to hurt him, just grip him tight enough to pull him down.]
