Mary Winchester | 13 | [Action]

[Anyone passing by the kitchen will notice either a sickeningly sweet smell or something that will make their mouths water...it all really depends on how you feel about pie. That's right. Pie. Mary had meant to do this after horror month, but Oktoberfest and being weird little monsters put a stop to that. You couldn't exactly cook when you were a foot tall. Everyone deserved something nice though, especially after the hell that they had all been through.

Walking into the kitchen, the source of the scent is apparent soon enough. There are already a few pies set on the counter of various flavors. It looked like she'd been cooking for a few hours and she likely had. It was all worth it though.

Hearing a soft ding, she grabbed a set of mitts and pulled a fresh apple pie from the hot oven.
]

...I can't believe how much I missed this...

[Cooking breakfast was one thing...but there was just something about baking that relaxed her.]

[It seemed like everyone was terribly active in the kitchen lately. It was almost sad as it was Ryuutaro's favourite place inside and he liked his peace in there.
Even though he loved all attention he could get, sometimes it was just better to be alone.

Still, he needed something to drink right now, so he had to get in there for making tea]

Those look lovely.

[Not that he meant it overly much, but he couldn't just walk in and say nothing, that would've been odd]
deeplymeaningless: (Whut is this?)

[Huh? Ryuutaro blinks, he didn't quite expect her to ask about Hayato, especially as she was a stranger to him. But not to Hayato then, it seemed. His usual smile returned]

He's doing better lately.

[Which does not mean good. Neither of them was really doing good, but things were getting back into a normal rhythm slowly]

How do you know him?
deeplymeaningless: (Evil-Plan-Grin)

[That sounded awfully much like Hayato. Ryuutaro smirks, just a tiny bit amused.]

Don't take it personally, he's like that with almost everyone.

[Except for just a few exceptions which he belongs to... No, he's not all kinds of happy and proud over that. He's just not.]
deeplymeaningless: ([smile] Don't you object)

[personal profile] deeplymeaningless 2011-11-18 09:22 pm (UTC)(link)
[It was not like Ryuutaro would know. He didn't care very much for how much Hayato disliked people. As long as he disliked them, it was totally fine with Ryuutaro and didn't matter much. His boyfriend was allowed to be all kinds of an ass, as long as he didn't do it to him.

At the worry comment Ryuutaro's smile softened for the tiniest moment. Yes, Hayato was just so worry-worthy sometimes.]

He'll be fine eventually. It's a lot to your credit though that you worry even though you two don't get along.

[Ryuutaro snaps his fan shut and smiles more brightly -and ultimately more fakely- again]
deeplymeaningless: ([smirk] Confident shark)

[personal profile] deeplymeaningless 2011-11-18 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
[Get through to him? Ryuutaro wasn't sure how he felt about this. He supposed it was a good thing that people cared about Hayato. But a part of him still screamed that nobody had be there when he died and...
Ryuutaro pushed the thought aside. In time for the get-through-to comment. Oh, yes]

He might be a bit difficult, but it's not that bad at all when you know him.

[Ahahaha, it so was. But no reason to tell her, was there?]

I'm Ryuutaro, but I suppose you already know that. And no, thank you. I just came here to make myself some tea...
deeplymeaningless: ([smile] Walk away in cherry rain)

[Lonely? What could she- Ryuutaro couldn't understand. Until Hayato died he didn't even understand the concept of lonelyness to begin with. Now he did. Just too well.
But Hayato... he had him. And especially now, after what happened, that should be enough. Ryuutaro might seem like he's gotten over it, but he's still not really back in the realm of sanity]

I'll make sure he has no reason to look lonely in the future, don't worry.
deeplymeaningless: ([Smirk] Your arrogance will be your doom)

[personal profile] deeplymeaningless 2011-11-22 08:52 pm (UTC)(link)
He's a good person, yes.

[Ryuutaro didn't like hearing Hayato being called a kid. Or himself for that matter. In his world's adults hadn't done a thing when things went down, people got hurt, kidnapped, thrown into dark cells.
He didn't feel like they had any right to look down on them just for being younger. Age didn't matter. Who you were did.]
deeplymeaningless: ([smirk] So over-confident)

[personal profile] deeplymeaningless 2011-11-23 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to imply you would.

[No, he's not sorry at all. But anyway, smiiiling]

He might be young, but age is not always a good reason for judgement. The path of fate decides about what a person is.

[And here he went, saying 'fate' so automatically... even if he wasn't sure of it anymore... Fate had made Hayato die.]
deeplymeaningless: ([fan] Humbly delighted and all blah blah)

[personal profile] deeplymeaningless 2011-11-24 12:50 pm (UTC)(link)
[Ryuutaro knew all this was right. He knew how Hayato was with insisting on being fine and pushing people away. He knew so well, because he'd seen it enough and sometimes just was the very same.
Ryuutaro wants the very same thing as Mary, too. But somehow he doesn't like to hear her say it. It wouldn't have been like that, before Hayato died, Ryuutaro knew. But right now, he just couldn't help it. He opened his fan in front of his face]

I agree, but I have to humbly remark, that there are things friends can not just fix. And things that are better not shared.
People caring for others is a wonderful thing, but sometimes the pressure will be too great for a person. Trust groes over time only.
