Mary Winchester | 13 | [Action]
[Anyone passing by the kitchen will notice either a sickeningly sweet smell or something that will make their mouths water...it all really depends on how you feel about pie. That's right. Pie. Mary had meant to do this after horror month, but Oktoberfest and being weird little monsters put a stop to that. You couldn't exactly cook when you were a foot tall. Everyone deserved something nice though, especially after the hell that they had all been through.
Walking into the kitchen, the source of the scent is apparent soon enough. There are already a few pies set on the counter of various flavors. It looked like she'd been cooking for a few hours and she likely had. It was all worth it though.
Hearing a soft ding, she grabbed a set of mitts and pulled a fresh apple pie from the hot oven.]
...I can't believe how much I missed this...
[Cooking breakfast was one thing...but there was just something about baking that relaxed her.]

The plate is cleared in record time]
S'fine..that was good
[Teeny pause]

It's just reheated chicken, but you're welcome.
[Not sure what to say after seeing such a display, she pulled out a chair and lowered her tone to something more gentle and soothing.] You know...there's not exactly a lack of food here. Anytime you're hungry, you're welcome to come down here for food. Or, you could always call me and I'll make something.
Once you're full though, I want you in the shower and getting clean. You're not doing anyone any good by denying yourself a shower and possibly a nap. [Honestly, he looked like he could use a few hours on a soft bed.]
Aaaaahh that tag was cute X3
He's a little surprised at her order for him to shower - he knew he needed one, but she was acting like Lori]
Maybe later
.///. T-thank you~
[He'd have to acknowledge sooner or later that he wasn't going anywhere. She knew it would take a little convincing, but whoever he was looking for most likely wasn't here. Sighing softly to herself, she leaned on the table as she watched Daryl.]
...Who are you looking for?
Nessun problema~
Sophia...lil' girl from our camp, got chased off by walkers

Sophia? I doubt that she's here...but I'll keep an eye out. It won't be hard, there's not many children that arrive here.
But if you don't mind my asking, what are walkers? [She just hoped that wherever that little girl was, she wasn't in too much danger.]

Y'know, walkers - 'zombies'..livin' dead
no subject
Zombies? Like...actual raised from the dead zombies? [Pushing her hair back, she actually hoped the child made it here as well.] Damn...Does she know how to kill them or is there someone else that can help her?
no subject
[He thought her chances would be good, since she had people looking for her..but he's a realist. With 1 person not able to search, those chances are diminished]
There's a couple 'a other people in camp

I'm sure she'll be fine then. From what I understand a zombie isn't hard to take down...there are worse things that could be chasing her.

[Although she has a point, Daryl's seen them up close, fought them, killed them. They're tougher to take down than most would think, especially if you don't have a weapon.
He doesn't voice what he's thinking (that Sophia's going to be dehydrated, hungry, tired, and has no weapon) Instead he changes the subject]
You got kids, right?

[If she had her way, that little girl wouldn't be chased by anything worse that a puppy trying to play with her. There wasn't much that she could do about it though, as much as she hated the thought.
Glancing up at his question, she nodded with a proud smile. They were her greatest accomplishment as far as she was concerned.]
Two boys. Four and-- [Sighing, her smile fades a little.] They're both twenty something.
