[So John, afflicted with the event like most everyone else, is having a hell of a time right now.]

[For the most part he looks the same, just that he's shirtless and has funny blueish gills on his neck, and webbed hands if you look close enough. He also looks pretty intensely frustrated.]

Okay, this is really bad timing!! It's my sister's birthday, I can't organize any kind of celebration when I'm half fish!! [And with that he flips his tail once, making a pretty decent splash in whatever little body of water he's situated on the bank of.]

"We sort of have a trend of her sending me life-saving rabbits through pen pals and other people, and me sending her clothing and plants, so I figured I could combine those two things and get her something hilarious," he offered. "So I got her one of those silly Hawaiian grass skirts in pumpkin-orange and green, some actual pumpkin seeds because that's sort of a thing-- even if these are the kind you eat, not the kind you plant --and a really pretty necklace that just sort of looked like something she would like, it's got a funny sort of space-y science-y looking symbol on it."
