[Guess who is sitting downstairs in the kitchen! Yep, a certain detective is back among the "living", tea in one hand, pocketwatch in the other, casting evil glances between it and the window. A good-sized gyrfalcon is preening calmly on a nearby table next to a falconry gauntlet, unbothered by anything.]

[He also seems to be half-awake and not entirely with it yet, although he's staring at his pocketwatch as if some major problem is eluding him and it's somehow focused on the clock.]

[He also has absolutely no clue what horrors are about to unfold.]


[Please, bother the detective.]

[Naoto had come downstairs for her usual cup of coffee, a good detective novel she had found in the library and a selection of various biscuits. Upon reaching the kitchen, book in hand she noticed someone sitting at the table.]

Ah, good morning. I didn't think there would be anyone else here at the time.

[Mikami had just needed a coffee. If he had liked it before, at the Manor the drink seemed essential to keep him working.
It wasn't as bad this week though, but Mikami kept with this habits, entering the kitchen.
He nodded at Saguru. Seeing him around the house was one of the things he was most used to and it was almost comforting.]

I seem to have lost time again - I woke up this morning with a four hour, thirty minute, twenty-two second discrepancy between my watch and the clock... And Valentine's decorations everywhere.

[Oh, believe me, he's just as glad to see Mikami. And that Mikami is still here.]
