A good-sized gyrfalcon is preening calmly on a nearby table next to a falconry gauntlet, unbothered by anything.]

[He also seems to be half-awake and not entirely with it yet, although he's staring at his pocketwatch as if some major problem is eluding him and it's somehow focused on the clock.]

[He also has absolutely no clue what horrors are about to unfold.]
