[Being a doll doesn't appear to have deterred John from his usual antics at all. It being April Fool's Day, and him being a bit of a prankster...]

[Well, most of the doorways in the Manor have been rigged in some way. Some of them drop buckets of plastic snakes on unsuspecting victims' heads (because there was no running water due to the event, which was such a bummer!!), others pull the trigger on canisters of silly string. Some even drop small vats of molasses or some other sticky substance and then pull the switch on a fan, to blow the age-old trick of chicken feathers all over the poor sap that opened the door.]

[John is prowling around the Manor, watching his traps and waiting, hoping to come across something wildly hilarious and amp up his Prankster's Gambit.]

Hahaha. My Prankster's Gambit. Think of it as a health bar in a video game, only in regard of the ratio of me pranking people or the Manor or the Manor or other people pranking me. It's a constant battle with me and my dad. Er, was.

That sounds a bit strange to me, but as a place like this I should probably not judge what is odd and what not.

It does depend on what you are used to. But I must agree, most of the people around here can be considered strange, with all due respect.
